I wonder why this bot it is performing so bad since the begining of August. Market conditions have changed significantly in august. High volatility, wild moves in a single day, etc, but it would be interesting to know why it performed so poorly during this period. Maybe just the developer can aswer that. For those considering this bot, maybe this is the right time to start after this dd. Just my 2 cents.

The reason newbies start scalping or even day trading is because the market presents them with more opportunities and as we know newbbies want to get rich fast. To trade longer term they would have to know about risk control, positioning sizing and MM in general, which most don't. I blew out account just because of that. Luckly i'm over it now, but still prefer day trading.

What platform did you use?Do you know if Jforex offers reports on your trading history like MT4 does?I'm thinking abou switching to them but the kind of reports Mt4 offers is very useful to me in order to keep track on my performance as a trader. I know that Mt4 lacks some fundamental information in it's reports, but at least it gives you trading records you can pump into several free reporting software in order to have some statistics on your performance.Anyone who has used jforex platform pls?

That sucks. It looks like you were stopped just because of 1 or 2 pips. If you got that trade where i think you did, i can see that it started a rally where you could have pocketed around 70 pips potentially. That sucks but it's a trader life.. :-)

AS of my trading style i trade only EURUSD and use basically:1. Price action2. Support & Resistance3. Candlesticks4. Some pattrens formation like double tops and double tips to identify trend reversals5. Moving averages as a support toolI no more pay attention to any indicators such as RSI, stiochs, etc. I'm not saying they are not useful. It is jus they are not part of the arsenal i want to go to the batlefied with.I'm a day trader too. I take trades out of M5 or M15 charts and always pay attention to the larger timeframe specially H1.I've been scoring around 30-35 pips daily ...

Oracle,The guru i was talking about would not be from internet. Internet is full of fake gurus. I know that. I've been at FF too. I never posted though. I know that it is full of people trying to find the holly grail. There were only very few, that would post really good info there. The so called guru would have to be someone you physically meet from time to time, with proved track record. It had to be someone that would analyze what you were doing and tell you things like: "Son with that stragey you are going nowhere because you are risking too much and although you won this week ...

Hi everyone. This is my 2nd post in this forum. Usually i'm not a great poster in forums, but i like this thread TheOracle started.Oracle, i can very much relate to your experience. I've been following your thread since you started it. It looks like we made a similar journey and we are almost at the same stage now. As of myself i started trading forex around 4 or 5 years ago. It took me 4 years to finally find a method that fits me. I blew out accounts as all of us. I lost real money. Made a lot of mistakes. Basically i was trading randomly even after having read lots of books with loa...

This is the 1st time i post here. One of the reasons most forex traders fail is because of lack of enough capital to start with. I can tell you from my own experience, and i take this advice very seriously. Enough capital is a must for every business and forex trading is no exception. Its a business and every beginner would benefit from taking this into high consideration.Every business has its own risks and enough capital can somehow protect you from some risks, like being thrown out of business too early because you can't afford to handle special circumnstances that can come along withou...
