"Light travels faster than sound. This is why some people appear bright.... until they say something."Those of you who are looking for someone to manage just a few 100dollars.... subscribe to "Elite Trading Team"..... the guy sounds desperate to acquire managed accounts by any means.... even methods such as what is seen above that would be considered crude & unethical by any profession/industry.Wonder why he went quiet after betting a pip against me. Probably a mini pip at that. He can keep the pip he bet... I'll gladly throw in a few more his way to keep him from g...

To those who might be misled by reading the above statement made out of ignorance, please note that when withdrawals and/or new deposits are made it DOES indeed affect the Abs.Gain. Anyone who says otherwise has either not plugged in a real account here on myfxbook or they've not made any withdrawals from their real account that is plugged here in myfxbook. You can read more here >> http://www.myfxbook.com/help#help_11Also, to those who are not familiar with how a PAMM works, I would also like to add that a PAMM Manager has no control over client-withdrawals as correctly pointed out b...

If we're talking in terms of ROI - yes it is indeed 100% that results from that single trade you've used as an example. If we're talking in terms of "change in account balance" then it would be the latter. (ie : 10%)I guess, it's a case of preference at what one wishes to see.Personally, I find it useful to see it as ROI (ie: as a % of capital invested)UPDATE:Since I wanted to verify the calculation, I just checked the calculations and the way it is currently, it is actually calculating this figure as a "change in the account balance" and not as ROI. I guess...

ROI is always calculated on the "invested capital", irrelevant of whether or not each trade size is calculated based on the capital invested or on the current balance. (ie: compounded or not)I guess since some people would also like to be able to see each trade's return as a % of the balance it was opened at, if this is going to be implemented, I recommend giving the user the option to select either option (in that column) to view stats based on his/her own preference.

Very impressive for an EA. It has posted profits month after month for 12 months straight! Haven't you started using this on a real account yet ? Good stuff. Wish you all the best.

Hi Steve,That's a shame about FXPRO.FXPRO > doesn't really seem to have a decent reputation. Looks like there are other traders who have been profitable and have had trouble with them as well. Well, I wish you all the best with the project and look forward to seeing the new EA in action. Have a blessed weekend.

Hi Steve,This EA of yours is slowly but surely growing the account for you. Any plans to go in for a real account test any time soon? Or are you still fine-tuning it in your fwd-test ? Looks like it might just about clear the 40% mark for the year, which is great by any standard for totally automated trading. Wish u all the best with this one.P.S : ahh.. just noticed that this is a feeder account. So I assume it's already trading a real account for u?

Hey stranger - been a long time and you've already forgotten my name - it's Robert Walters ! I'm offended that you didn't even get my name right ! Haha !Yup - right here chugging along slowly but steadily "upwards" gaining "positively"... just the way I like it. And I'm glad I look at my monthly gain chart the right side up... just imagine the plight of some poor folk who look at their monthly gain chart upside down and think they're posting gains month after month when in reality it's losses month after month?? Oh and you should try this new tec...

Hi Steve,Yup - know what you mean. I was also thinking that it would be nice perhaps if the tech.team could maintain the same layout with just a scroll bar (if possible) to the right within the box. Similar to an "iframe". And if the number of topics run into more than 1 page then display page links at the bottom within the frame when u scroll to the end. Just to keep it simple and easy to navigate.

Hi,Will be useful if you could add a link to "View All" in the "Recent Topics Discussed" box so that we can leisurely catch up with all the topics that have been recently discussed. Since we're all in different time zones, if we miss a recent topic discussion because it's got pushed down out of the box, it seems there's no other way to see a list of the topics missed.Thanks.

Hi,Like in the case of the equity which shows the % at any given time even if the amount($) is locked and not shown to the public, can we have the same feature for withdrawals - so that total withdrawals as a % of total deposits is shown even if withdrawals ($ amount) is locked and not shown to the public.Thanks.

Yup. I agree with your point of view as well Elkart. But I still think each of us, individually, having the option of being able to choose to ignore posts and resulting notifications from users we don't want to hear from, will be a useful feature to have. This way, everyone can still have their say on any thread (ie: freedom of speech - constructive or otherwise) and we will also have the freedom to choose whether or not we want to be notified and/or see those posts. So it basically affects "only" the individual who chooses to use that option to "ignore". Everyone else w...

----------------------------end of quote------------------------------Absolutely. Maybe a good compromise would be to implement a feature that allows us to ignore anyone we choose to.. so that we do not get email notifications if that person posts on any threads we have participated in nor do we see their posts when we read any threads ? Isn't that a fair compromise ?

Beach idea sounds good! 😄 I'm just a hop away anyway. 😎I'd hate to think what would happen to the U.S economy if China decides to dump their US$3trillion forex reserve and maintain all of their reserves in gold instead just to spite the U.S?? Catastrophic ?! 😲

Lol !😁Well... let's make the best of what we have now and hope that we'll be able to continue to do so even if it means having to make significant changes eh ?Oh wait a min... what you have said is basically only for the U.S or did you actually mean on a global scale via a central exchange? I doubt the U.S will be able to get acceptance on a proposition such as that, considering the new economic super powers such as China and others emerging in the region, who don't really care too much about pleasing the U.S.. if you know what I mean.

Instead of closing it ? Yup.. I think so too. A prominent highlight should be sufficient for us to identify suggestions that have already been implemented. And if anyone would like to suggest something to improve that implementation, they still can. And maybe if there's been a suggestion for improvement of an already implemented idea, a different color or icon can be used to highlight that suggestion to indicate that an improvement has been suggested to an already implemented feature. So to sum it up, there will be 2 types of highlights. One to indicate that a suggestion has already been im...

That'll be nice.. the equity curve getting updated @ every update. Will allow us to accurately analyze intra-day fluctuation of the curve.Papertrader42 : I think that answers your question about the equity curve.

According to myfxbook staff the equity line is updated at the end of each day. I am not sure whether it takes the value of the equity that prevails at the time of this end-of-day update, or whether it works out the lowest/highest equity that the account reached within that day.Perhaps Support Staff could step in here to explain how it's done. But I am aware that they are in the process of still implementing the drawdown based on equity. So there is a possibility that whatever problem there is with the equity curve will also be taken care of when the said implementation is complete.Sorry I ...

Hi,It seems that suggestions that have already been "implemented" are also left open for comments/further suggestions. It might be a good idea to prominently highlight and/or close a suggestion that has already been implemented. (without deleting) Saves time in going through the suggestion box for yet-to-be-implemented suggestions and comment/vote.Thanks. 😉
