You can succeed with MDP on MM but not for long, as as greedy as they get they take the opposite side of your trade on their own call, they aren't obliged to hedge everything, they profile trades and their trades, since most scalpers lose money rather instantaneously they trade against you but as time passes they have profile re-evaluation and they either switch you to the market (and likely with bad execution if they have only as optional bridge) or start messing with your trades. Most chose the second.

That is correct, but it does not apply to all ECN and I still count this as the dirty game, while it may be legal. What I despise though is when they DO NOT forward orders to ECN despite calling themselves as ECN Broker, and instead slowing and off quoting you.

Of course it does. But as we are saying - no slippage means artificial market. I have no idea how big you are trading but rather sooner than later you will see off quotes, slow execution and other errors so watch out to be able to spot the problem once it appears.

Second that. No slippage = artificial market. Period.Slippage like this is great if it stays same for bigger lot sizes. I have around 3 pips ins plus outs slippage during NFP but given the market volatility - it was fine and profits were formidable.I had no slippage with Oanda, Alpari, TF and all started to play games when your lot sizes grow.

I got something like 8-9% but I was cutting trades manually and besides I run much less orders and less risk than many. So more reasons to be happy.

Looks at the logs, if you see requotes and off quotes, context busy - be sure your broker is burning you alive with the smile. I tested MDP on about dozen of brokers and most work initially and then just decided to take you money. All recommended by MDP don't work anymore since November, IMO.
