Hi PhilThanks for the Post.Just a quick update. Following the advice from Andrea on the forum. I have decide to rest Crescendo during December until mid January when the voulumes in the markets pick up. I was waiting for the GBY/JPY basket to close in profit before stopping it completely. This has now closed today 😁I have made a withdrawal/transfer to another live account I have running which places trades based on the account size (unlike Crescendo that places a set size). I will be reducing the balance of my Crescendo account to £500 and will probably use it to test the new LEO...

Hi DaleI'm not sure where you got the figure of DD 50% from. My drawdown never reached that amount?My DD is set to 30%. It did come mighty close but to that but thankfully the trend reversed just in time.Are you running Crescendo EA?CheersGraham

Hi MikeThat trade was not palced by Crescendo. I got fedup with waiting for the final 3 trades to recover so I thought I would try to make a little more profit on the way. I placed the trade manually :)CheersGraham

Hi MikeI have a VPS running 24/7 and have set up AutoBoot to restart Metatrader automatically. As far as I am aware Crescendo will pick up the basket of trades when the EA reboots and carry's on moitoring the success of all of the trades that are in place (although this has not, touch wood, happened to me yet)My VPS seems very relaible. Hi PhilPart of me really wants to believe in this EA and the other part is saking "Why on eatrh would you use a system that allows your account to risk £300 to make £2.80 ????????" Hi PhilI'm not sure what happened to your MT4 and your 2 trades?? Which version of crescendo are you running?As for the direction of the trades. Crescendo will keep opening trades in the same direction until the collective value of all the open trades = [profit target]. Once the [profit target] is reached then crescendo will wait until the next [market watch] time at which point it will then decide which way it trade (i am not sure of the parameters that determine this but it is related to a longer time frame, to try to determine the trend). Update:I have temporarily stopped the trading on the GBPUSD waiting for the GBPJPY to come back into profit (fingers crossed 😄)Once all open trades are closed I will update to v1.2 and re-start my trading with the recommended settings. I have read on the Crescendo blog that some people have experienced their open trades being closed when updating. I don't want to take the chance with my 5 open trades.Cheers 😄

Hi PhilLeaving the initial balance at 1,000 just means that I am playing withabout £670 ($1,000) insted of £1,000. I will leave this until v1.2 where I think we should be able to use £'sI am thinking of moving the DD back to 30% (especially looking at the current open trades 😄)I do use a VPS and I have an app on my iphone that gives me direct access to VPS over 3g or wireless 😄Since the markets just opened I now have 5 £/JPY and 3 £/$ trades running 😲 £/JPY is on the rise already 😄Graham

This is a live account running the Crescendo EA on the standard (modest) settings. The account is running 24/7 on a VPN with an Alpari UK accountI have put some protection in place by setting a MAXIMUM of 25% drawdown in the event of a "black swan event".There are a few critics of this system and I would appreciate it if negative opinions are posted elsewhere. I am happy to let the EA run and allow it to be judged on live perfomance.Let's see how it goes 😄
