Based on my EA research, most Forex trading with equal SL vs TP of 40 pips with 2 pip spread are 48% wins to 52% losses. This 1-2% difference between them is the spread. Of course, if the spread is 2 pips and the SL and TP are say 10 pips, then the spread percentage impact will be more severe. That is why some say the "house" always wins also applies to Forex.

I think EAs are one of the best tools to learn how to trade. If you know how to write EAs, you can significantly speed up your learning curve. It is my belief, that with enough practice, can make money trading with almost any indicator though I am partial to the classic EMA. I think finding a strategy that has high odds of success, that fits your personality, and works with your trading availability is the most difficult issue. If you are still searching for a trading strategy, I would suggest starting with a strategy that focuses on the daily charts. At the end of the day, I find the bes...

If you are researching the idea of trading the "opposite" of a losing EA...I wish you the best. I have found that most EAs do not produce large enough pip losses to cover the spread when copying the opposite.
How many have got investors by using this site?

I don't recommend backtesting EAs more than 3 years, as the market environment changes quite a bit over time.

Doubling an account in 6 weeks is not the hard part...consistently doubling an account every 6 weeks is were the task gets complicated.

I think hybrid trading is the future of trading. I think trading along side of an EA gives you the best of both worlds.
