Oanda is about to add MT4 accounts

As it seems from the link below, Oanda will soon offer MT4 accounts. This is great news for all of us who use MT4 for charting. Besides this would mean that Myfxbook should be able to collect the information of our trades. It sounds all great!http://forexmagnates.com/oanda-attains-metatrader-4/We still have to see when this is going to happen and test its reliability.
Broker black list

Looking at recent scams that show some sort of broker support. To prevent future scams to use MFB I´d like to suggest creating a broker black list. If an account uses a blacklisted broker, but it doesn't show up because of user settings, a warning message should warn the user and MFB members of potential scam and faked results.So, what do you think?Aimak

The info shown suggests that the broker of choice could influence the chances of being profitable in forex. Except for the great O, are all other brokers unfair with their customers? Welll, perhaps the results are not statistically significant. 😱http://forexmagnates.com/us-forex-brokers-account-profitability-comparison/Who does give credit to this data?
Another suggestion about "vouching" and banning "trouble makers".

The noise and the chitchatting is noticeably increased in those systems threads showing some trading success. I want the community to vote for including the option to control who can post a comment by setting a minimum vouch level.Aimak

Staff, would it be possible to create a page with Myfxbook stats showing only numbers, no graphics? All sorts of information for the forex nerds. For instance, from Steve's comment I wonder how many real accounts are verified versus not verified.Just pure informationBTW. I love the community outlook feature!

I also have build 226, and the crashes stopped sometime ago. What I did was deleting all ex4 files and let MT4 to recompile all mq4 files again. Also downloaded the latest myfxbook EA.Hope this helps.Aimak

One reason might be that the MT4 build version you use is not the same as the version used to create the EA. Other EAs or indis running could also provoke the crash. More info: http://forum.mql4.com/22328

Hi Steve,Thanks for such a master class on MT4 back testing! 😉I understand that I can get any history dataset but its better to do the backtesting in my MT4 terminal logged in a live account so it will use the spread from it.I just started collecting M1 data from the live trade server and simultaneously testing the EA. Later I can backtest the EA using the collected data an compare the trades to those already done in real time. Dunno if its worth the hassle, I believe this way I can check that the backtested EA is performs the same way as it did in real time.Regarding parameter optimis...

I'd like to see a checkbox "Reload every..." some where at the top of this site's pages. This way the user can enable auto reloading the actual page for new stats, community entries, news, etcIn Firefox and Google Chrome I'm using the auto reload plugins, but hey seem a bit buggy and they end up eating a big of my RAM. A simple javascript auto reload thingy may solve it.Of course you would get an increase data traffic and banner reloads, which is something I don't know if could become an issue for Myfxbook.
