Spike53, is this fading the spike like MDP? And is this purely based on Candles, or did you throw in any others indi's? Im building a EA that trades both directions at the same time and has a much larger take take profit than the loss. Has a trailing TP to maximize the gains. Doing well on a small scale. Perhaps you could do this and make bigger gains.Garry

Backtesting is the first step in creating a good ea but as Splexin said you need to test it on a larger timeframe. Once that is done you will want to forward test it on a demo account. If that works then move to a live account to test.

7forex I read most of the messages and I am curious about this thing. If the system can be detailed sufficiently, I may be able to write an EA to make the strategy consistently repeatable.
