i didnt say every ea trader is lazy, but the big majority is. writing eas takes a lot of time, but as i said, this time is only spend right if you have a manual way to trade which works. many guys start coding mql4 without being able to trade profitable manual, thats the point, trying to find some magical combination of indicator settings which works.its a nice experience when a trader finds out he doesnt need any indicator at all.and thats nothing of i am better than you or shit, i went through all those stages and just point out the mistakes many people make, and i made too. every ea works just in a specific market condition, and if that condition changes it will loose. a good coded ea has security features build in to prevent loosing the hole balance if the change occurs. however, a skilled manual trader can beat every ea, because he can adapt to every market condition in no time.also in order to write a profitable ea, you need to be able to trade manual profitable first.so there is really no need to use an ea. often people say they have no time to trade manual and thats why they use an ea, however you can be profitable with a decent return with just spending 1 h...

and for the threadstarter:i dont think you will find the "perfect" broker for the ea, no need to demo it on a broker you wouldnt use anyway. no need to demo test it at all, cause you orders get instantly filled and stuff. open a cent account with some broker, fund it with e.g. 5$ and trade it in a real environment.

fxopen is one dishonest bucketshop. wouldnt open any account anymore with them.btw, low leverage helps you to survive. i constantly blew my accounts with 1:500, with 1:50 no margin call at all.

thats some long time ago, and this was euronis, stopped it before it blowed. that just doesnt say anything, i could delete them anyway. its a bad ea, using extreme wide stops and tiny tps. wouldnt work on a real account either cause of slippage.demo tests are not accurate!! live feed is different from demo feed, its just that simple. thats like taking strategy tester serious.. when people trade manual on demo and double their demo or even "just" make nice and steady profit, thats good, but if they start with a real account, they lose all. it happened to me, too. trading with real mon...

forget about demo trading in general, even if you choose the size of the account. live accounts are totally different.forget totally about eas making entrys. EVERY EA will lose you money. there is now way to be succesful without learning manual trading. period.

try oanda, really the "best" broker i have experienced.if you want to go with mt4 try ibfx e.g.your learning gets a big boost when you trade real money. i do it that way with a small oanda account.demo account just doesnt get you the feel of real money, you know? thats a big point in trading psychology!

forget about eas in general. they may perform good on demo/ even live for a certain time, but i dont know any ea which performs good without manual intervention. eas are good for managing orders you put manual.forget about fundamentals and news trading.the only way is to learn all the methods many traders are using, like s/r, trendlines and fibo, privots and so on, and get why and when those group of traders place their orders.i suggest to join a trading group which fits your style of trading the most.also the most important thing is to have a plan and to stick with it. no business is successf...
