Yes grid is dangerous, I included backtest from 2008 - 2015 that occurred maxDD very first month in operation and it can take over 1 year to recover the loss. I want to show loss and how system can recover. Showing beautiful backtest without month of april 2008 would display the holy grail. I don't want that. I want realistic backtest. If you started on May 2008 instead of April 2008, you would have never experienced the maxdd and you would have continued to make profit every month for the next 80 months in a row. @ForexPro , This is a demo account which normally have 0 slippage. The fact that fxopen ecn demo accounts have slippage is a good thing because it gives us realistic trading conditions. If you don't experience slippage +/- on a Real account I wouldn't use that broker because they are b-booking your orders ( market maker). Dealing with slippage is real life scenario on ECN.

@goode , You can also upload the eurusd setfile, then make a change to the minbreakeven profit next time without disabling the ea if you want to intervene.

@douglasjstan I agree. let the system do its job and let it follow the backtests. Otherwise you may as well trade manually fulltime. However, if the backtests aren't good and the current performance isn't making money I can also see why people are changing setting,manual intervening and using Rev as a tool to assist rather than fully auto. @Batcheler The system hasn't made any money this month ( This Month -0.99% (-1.40%) -$2253.83 (-$3192.84) ) , It is not the brokers fault and this system isn't as broker sensitive as many other systems. not much action to see here. The BE function cuts the bad trades before getting into DD if the trade doesn't reach a profit zone quickly.

I'm running backtests now, and not profitable yet. Its an asian scalper with risk 3 to earn 1 which eats up the equity curve and a lot of the positions don't reach the TP 10 and close around 3 pips.. The indicator is envelopes period 4, dev 0.05 Selling the higher band and buying at the lower band with MA divergence., You can also average the positions which will allow more positions to stack against you.

Well said, but I wouldn't try to achieve those gains trading real or demo because then someone would expect it two months back to back. That is really not the point in trading fx or investing. Cheers to anyone that would try to gain access to the EA. It may be better to have those interested to produce an optimization that did 400% in the last 20 days of recent market condition.

@BostonRain I don't think so, This account has Gain:+603.36%Abs. Gain:+452.52%. There was an extra deposit or withdrawal and that can't happen on demo.
