-funny! i do not sell any system, so i must NOT have a track record!-successful traders have open minds to integrate new trading technics-only the "old school" sl only guys will loose in the long!!! run.-fyi: i trade pure pa since 15 years, no indicators, no lines, nothing- OHLC only!, I was a inflexible SL guy till 2008 too, all my yearly profit was lost in 1 minute. Since i do not use sl anymore only other technics like async hedges, percentage allocations, brownian motion, stochatic processes (financial mathematics) and so on and yes i use different versions of martingale like ope...

Trading with SL is "old school" and eaten the whole profit in the long run, there is a academic financial study from the bond university in australia which test sl (%1-10, ATR1-5, MA crossover) ALL SL variations burning the profits in the long run.

Using SL is almost the hard way to realize losses! There are plenty new technics in the 21. century to go the soft way with option to reduce the lose overall or catch BE - no such option if you trade with hard sl!

async hedges: you are wrong, works completly different from stop/limit ordersdynamic pairs ts,tp,sl: wrong again, calculation is price (action) based not ATR based! ATR based sets again an fixed valued at the given ATR point! only pa is dynamic!dynamic steps: wrong: based on volatility and price action! no indicators, no trend lines and so on are used!open/closed martingale: wrong: closed is like casino martingale, open used async hedges to martingale orders-nothing to do with pyramiding, trend doesnt matter!basket%: lot size dynamically reduces, if the sum of all open orders exceeds 10/20/30%...

oh man, DD only reasonable if you realize the loss in the hard way! but if you do open!!! martingale+async hedge+dyn pair+basket%-DD is useless.2nd, usage of martingale depends always on primary (failed) entries, so before you do martingale you have to configure your entries well and if sometimes! a trade goes wrong, then martingale+security features are started-this is not an every day and trade solution!3rd, what is reputable broker? alpari uk was one of them and now...4th, sorry bro, no one would you change to a believer, but do some math like brownian motion, stochastics =financial mathema...

sorry bro, if you combine martingale with several security features, you'll be always on the safe side:-async hedges-dynamic pair tp, ts-dynamic steps between orders-open or closed martingale-basket percentage-1-3-2-4 managementand some more..and you are right if you use the static casino martingale in a dynamic market!, but also static values for tp, ts, sl also completly wrong in an dynamic market!

Tested with active, FXPro, FXOpen, JFD (all error 0) now testing InstaforexNO Coding fault! Order is executed and logged by the EA, but broker returns "error 0-no order is opened", after manuell counting of all open orders:if <70 open orders, new orders are executed as coded.if >70 open orders, no new orders are executed, if existing orders closed (tp,ts,..manuall or automated) now <70 open orders, the waiting order is executed regular...Also somethimes there are <70 open orders but sum lot reaches 10 lot, mabe its a combinationen, to survive demo accounts, because faulty...

@FxMasterGuru we talking about different things!As i state 17 hours ago, there is no difference between real and demo at the same broker at >H4 tf!You talking about Newstrading....Also ALL demos at ALL brokers have limits, which are 10lots and /or 70 open orders - test by yourself! I run +100 demos, my highperformance hedger reach most time this limits in demo! which results in "error 0"

Nope, compare CHF spike demo and real, both are equal, because demo server get their quotes along with the real account from one quoteserver!! the difference is the metaquotes "virtual dealer plugin" which is not active on demo servers, million demos...so plugin useless.Next, StopLoss is alway the hard way to realize a loss, this is "old school", there are several new technics available to survive CHF spikes easy

Personal i think it doesnt matter in long term tf >H4 if demo or not, tick are nearly the same, spikes, gaps, spreads, interests too, because demoservers connects to the origin quoteserver to get the rates.The one and only difference is the "virtual dealer plugin" where the broker can semi-automatically set some "special" settings against you. :) This plugin is not active in demoservers. This is the residual risk, but with some security features you will survive (the broker).
