Economy of Indonesia
Indonesia is the largest economy in Southeast Asia and the sixteenth-largest economy in the world. It has a market-based economy in which the government has a prominent role, including the administration of prices for basic items like petroleum, rice, and electricity.
Since the country is located within the Pacific Ring of Fire, which is responsible for 90% of earthquakes and has 75% of the world's active volcanoes, natural disaster dangers make its economy more vulnerable and challenging to expand.
The industry sector is the largest contributor to the Gross Domestic Product (GDP), followed by the services and agriculture sectors.
The domestic market, government spending, and state-owned businesses are the most essential components of the Indonesian economy. Heavily relying on commodities exports, including minerals, oil and coal products, palm oil, electronic devices, and rubber products as its major exports.

The Republic of Indonesia's central bank is known as Bank Indonesia (BI), its goals are to uphold monetary stability, promote monetary management efficacy, increase the effectiveness of Good Governance implementation, and issue and manage the country's national currency, the Rupiah (IDR).
Interest Rate of Indonesia
Bank Indonesia (BI) is also responsible for determining the official Interest Rate for Indonesia.
