Appears to be a great system with excellent average win to losing trade ratio. Without seeing the value of open trade positions this can only be an assumption at this stage.

I'm only carrying -3% in open trades atm - so well within my normal risk profile. If I change my bullish take on this pair I'll be out before it gets to 5%.

Thanks for your comments.

It seems very good. Will you share or sell your system?

There is no system. All I use is support & resistance and trade with the trend as I read it. I have posted the accounts as the site gives me a deeper look at my stuff than I can do myself (doh) and I have nothing to sell.

I will look for certain price action/bar formations but that isn't a necessary key to making an entry.

Nice job! Impressive stats! May I ask why you are so partial to longs?

It seems you have impressive results, looking at your win/loss ration. The problem is nothing can be verified. You can keep your positions and history private but not your broker. These types claims making 200% , 1000% with no data given, should be flagged so that these gainers can be hosted on a separate page.
Do you know, I've only just spotted this message and I'm pissed off. I don't give a shit what you think about my stats because they are posted here for my edification as a quick way of analysing what I'm doing, live and demo.

I trade as a second income, not to drum up business by selling anything that I do. I have no interest in selling signals and if anyone wants an explanation of how I trade then I'll screenshare for free on Skype.

If it's so important to know who my broker on the live account is I'll publish it, it's IBFX as if it's of any concern of yours. I don't post open trades or pending orders simply because I don't believe in supplying signals just in case someone thinks I have found the 'Holy Grail' and tries to trade with me. I'm a discretionary trader, not mechanical, so I rely on 4+ years of experience to tell me when I'm right or wrong. Most new traders would lose money trying to do what I do and the size of my stops would scare the pants off most of them.

So go away and find fault with someone who is trying to make a profit from gullible newbies and leave me in peace.

Simple. I only trade with the main trend as I see it on the Daily/Weekly charts. I find it hard to counter-trend trade, which I admit is a weakness, and the reason for the 2nd demo account is to find a way of doing this which is as profitable for me as my current methodology.

I will short if the chart is unambiguous, such as the USDCAD, but I have found that concentrating on one pair (in the live account) allows me to develop a feel for how that pair moves.

stephanusR posted: We don't know because we don't know what the deposit/equity ratio is . But as any broker will tell you a portfolio must always reflect the real-time performance which means factoring in the open trades running at a loss.
I've asked you to butt out of my area as your comments are not relative to my reasons for being here. It seems you haven't read my earlier response and it's unfortunate that this site has no 'ignore poster' feature as I would like to find some way of banning you from posting your repetitive ramblings.

I'm sure you're right, in the context of those peddling their systems to the more gullible out there, but you are not when trying to prove that I am some sort of snake-oil salesman.

Please carry on your campaign elsewhere and stop posting your annoying whines in my area. Thank you.

But since you are not trying to sell anything would you then tell us what is your present deposit:equity ratio, not the actual amounts just the ratio so that we at least have some sort of indication as to the actual results.

stephanus, look at the equity percentage - it's currently at 100.75%. so why would you blame him for incorrect results?

peter's system is actually one of the top here..

Thus 100.7% means the equity:deposit ratio is 1:1?

StephanusR, the equity percentage is the actual equity compared to account balance. So an equity percentage of 100.7% means the account's NAV is currently up +0.7%.

What does absolute gain mean and where is it defined ? Please advise where these terms are defined.

This is a screengrab from the account. The value is only of interest to me. You can either take these figures as this site has decided to present them or not.

Either way I don't care. If the day comes that someone asks me to manage their account then I will deal with them directly and they can decide whether to trust me or not.

Stephanus, if you've read and understood how the yields are calculated from the help section, then it should have answered your questions:

stephanusR posted:
Did you actually make any money.

This is the absolute gain.

stephanusR posted:
Imagine I am an investor and all i want to know is after putting in $1000 what is that $1000 now worth?

Assuming your deposit was made at account inception, this is the cumulative gain.

Your observation of the yields calculation is correct - if no deposits (except the first one) or withdrawals are made, cumulative and absolute gains will be the same.

Moderators, please, how long do I have to put up with this crap?

I REPEAT, I AM NOT SELLING ANYTHING, NOR AM I OFFERING MY SERVICES AS A FUND MANAGER.

I do NOT feel inclined to sit here every 4 hours justifying why I use this site and if there is no way that I can block this persistent idiot from posting in my thread then I will leave and close my section down.

I'm not sure where you get your figures from but as you insist on calling me out I will state that I currently have 6 open trades at various lot sizes and these trades have a value the equivalent of +0.75% of my balance.

I am more than happy to email my account P/L to the site's moderators who will then be able to see that these figures are valid as posted.

I'm away on holiday in France next week (14th - 21st) and if I come back to any more of this bollocks I will have to close my account. I had hoped to use this site for my personal analysis and help in MY development as a trader but it seems that I'm spending more time justifying my private trading than anything else.
