Funny......had I not moved my SL to break-even on a Euro trade, I would be in top 10 today. And I was going to hang onto the trade as the uptrend reversal occurred (note rejection at key Fibonacci level!) and cash out at the end of the month.

But now that I learn we can trade gold, oil, indexes and all else, I'm just like **** it. I don't stand a chance when you bring foreign indices into the mix. 😑

So now I will just be gambling my money away 😝 with the contest account and instead focusing on my real-life forex. Maybe make as much as the prize would've been! 😎

Yes, Jason with FXCM confirmed earlier today.

I really see no sense of a forex trading competition when there are CFDs involved (considering many brokers don't even offer them), but whatever. lol

If FXCM was a MM instead of a STP broker, it would pretty much be the same as trading CFDs anyway.

I'm not too worried about index CFD traders here... what worries me is how the rankings only line people up on realized P/L instead of the market value of the account. We won't know the true winners till everyone is liquidated on the last day.
Never trade for the sake of trading. Instead, wait for the trades where you have a clear advantage and exploit it.
