hahahaha over load in the major pair,
Yeah how about that move in the yen today! Lowest levels against the US dollar since April on concerns the BoJ might intervene. Do you think it's just a momentary reversal or a permanent change in direction? The latest SSI report DailyFX from today indicates that retails traders are still net long USD/JPY: https://bit.ly/SPgjtH
As a contrarian indicator, that's normally a bearish signal that USD/JPY could fall back, but if you look at the change in open interest, the number of long positions decreased while the number of short positions increased. That means traders are still net long but not as much as before. That could possibly mean USD/JPY could go higher if the BoJ shows real signs of taking action.

Hi Andan,
Regarding the "off quotes" message you're getting - since FXCM uses 5-digit pricing (fractional pips), every 10 points for the Maximum Deviation is equivalent to one pip. If you adjust your Max Dev in the Order window, that should solve the problem. Try setting the max deviation to 20 or 30 as shown below.

as FXCM works with points instead of pips (5 figures instead of 4), it will - unless you "Enable maximum deviation from quotation" (I use 5 points here, 10 in mayor market-times) - try to fill your order to the exact point. But it will have moved to another figure most of the time wherefore you get a requote ;)
so activate "deviation from quotation" set it at your desired maximum "slippage" & it should work just fine
The larger the balance, the lower the risk.

if you can't trade cause requote, use pending order (BUY/SELL LIMIT) to solve.
Hi Ayyashi,
If you're getting "off quotes" messages, try changing your Maximum Deviation settings as I mentioned in my previous post. That has worked for others.

Just wanted to add that you can change the default Max Deviation setting for all orders by going to Tools > Options and the Trade tab as shown below.
