@cedtrading Actually this system is pretty good so far.Verified account on well known broker.DD and profit correlation is nice.What scares me a bit is that you have 100% winning trades for the main profit contributor EURSEK. It seems you keep trades open for a long time until they become profitable. Is that right?

NopeDefinition of martingale is simply that you increase trade size when your equity/balance decrease.So you started with 0.01 lots loosing trade and you came up to 0.04 lot. It is clear martingale.Whatever you call it smart marti, martigrid, limited marti. Still martingale.

Only about 5% of traders are profitable.Lets assume just 2-3% became rich.So the answer is unfortunately there is 97% probability trading wont make you rich.Unless you are exceptional or you have exceptional guru.Someone who trades for living for a long time :)

Backtesting was done on 99% quality which is the best possible.So the results might be reasonableOn the other hand the end of BT was in 2015 and testing period was too short.@ Silk you would need to look for EA performance on real account

Yeah your broker could have different time zone, so it will not open trades as market was closed perhaps.Or it could have different leverageOr it could even have different set of pairs for trading.Can you check the journal tab on mt4?

FXVM is very overpriced1. There is nothing like forex VPS. Normal VPS with Windows is fine. Everyone should be capable to install mt4.2. $274 per month for weak dedicated server? I can get much more powerful dedicated server for 60 bucks.

@MicF I am using it for years. Even when you switch to paid mode after first year it is cheap and reliable.IMHO it is much better than metaquotes VPS built in mt4 in all terms.
