Sorry - correction related to my calculations above - even if the EA loses once every 2 months (losing 6 times in the year), it probably would end the year profitably.

Hi FxPapa, It would be great if one of your future versions could include risk related to period of time and day so that it allowed us to reduce or increase risk on certain days and certain periods of time. Fx Papa goes very well on Wednesdays and afternoons (12-17:30h your EA time). It's not very good on Tuesdays. We should find a way to make it a little more profitable because if it loses 5 times in the year (same risk along the year) no profit will come. All the 9 situations in the strategy were recovered. FxPapa never lost in the strategy. But real life is different. When you open the 3rd trade, the chances of recover are very small. Keep in mind you will have about 180 pips negative when you open the 3rd trade. So more 20 pips and all are lost. And you will need to recover 60 pips to end in a draw. So in the real life 3 trades mean almost a loss and should be avoided at all cost. Staying out on Mondays and Tuesdays (or reducing the risk) should help on this.

ragency, I plan to reduce the risk for both Mondays and Tuesdays. I was planning to stay out but I will just reduce the risk to 2-5%. 2% in one account, 5% in the other. And increase the risk on Weds so that what I lose potentially from lower risk these days be partially recovered on Weds. On Fridays I'll be probably out.

Hi everyone, Looking at FxPapa’s real account, it’s possible to notice that both times the EA had 3 trades open in these 6 months were on Tuesdays. Examining FxPapa’ strategy, I found in the period of 2 years 3 trades open 9 times: 3 of them on Mondays and 4 of them on Tuesdays. The other 2 were in initiated on Thursdays. I’m thinking about going into the market with FxPapa on Wednesdays and Thursdays only, maybe increasing the risk a bit for Weds, since FxPapa would never open 3 trades in 2 years and half (2 of strategy and half real). Lawrence, The reason they reduced from 0.60 to 0.12 is obvious. They were uncertain that it was the moment to buy and had the feeling it would lose. The problem is that this feeling didn't reflect in the account we use and I think it would be better to stay out. So I view this negatively. Moreover, my EA didn't open the 3rd trade so it's not working as the seller says, which disappoints me deeply because this had to be fixed in version 3.

Sad to see, but it seems another bug. The EA is not opening the 3rd trade. I closed both in loss after counting where the 3rd should open and nothing happens. Please Fx Papa, ask the developers to fix this other bug.

lxboston, Then if you really want 15, you should set 7.5 as a risk (and you would have really 15%) and maybe the EA developers could take a closer look at this situation to try to find out why this is happening with your broker.

fxboston, The way your account is, you are risking 30%, not 15%. See if you have version 3 or this new one Fx Papa mentioned (which I still don't have, by the way). If you have, there is something weird in your broker or in the EA that needs to be double-checked.

Hi lxboston, I don't undersand how your account made 42% in April while Fx Papa official account made less than 20% if both seem to be 100 in leverage. I noticed you attached FxPapa to 2 charts for a few days. Is that all the difference? Can you please share how you made 42% in April? ThanksFabio

Losing almost all the profit hardly made in the first 25 days in 1 day is not good. This EA needs a break.
