That's why traders need a real education from a professional trader who has worked on a trading desk and trades their own account.Stop wasting your time and money reading crap from brokers and so called educators,anyone who trades without a stop loss should not be trading,go to the Casino you will be very welcome.Your right about time frames ,professional traders use 4 hour,one hour charts.They spend 90% of their time not looking at charts unless its an algo system or level 2 futures trading.

What an exciting day yesterday was,draghi playing games with mr.market,one never knows what to expect around a major news event,one thing for sure expect to get your ass kicked if you have a bias.One lesson I have learned from past experiences is wait for the figures to be digested.For now I expect the euro to remain around the 10860 level,the jobs report later today should provide an opportunity if the figures are good.The Euro area is looking stronger for the short term,its going to be a long time before we see parity.Right now seeing a push back up to the 10920 level closing gap.

Reading the above messages,trading the news is risky business,its certainly not for beginners,I ignore the first 10 minutes at least until a trend starts,I would have been wiped out otherwise by the spike down.I know professional traders who will not trade the news,they stick to a steady income over time and they are certainly not stupid! as for technical's around major releases is a waste of time,the mood moves the direction until that mood changes.Asia markets push the euro higher on the opening,next year is going to be a roller coaster ride.

Some action this morning we got some buying before the sell off on the figures release,caught some action but missed the larger move,looking for a bounce off the 10560 level now.10630-640 resistance for now,I would like to see a break through of this level before id start selling again,a few attempts have been rejected

We closed out at 10590 from 10614,seen some resistance and close to the 30 points average move ,start of an up trend on psar and bounce off BB,we will short again from the max daily peak.

Most of them are based on averages,which is of little use because its past data ,unless your getting live feeds from the exchange.

I seen some other traders place huge lot sizes,they escaped for awhile then its wipe out.That pending order happened me once it went bad,lucky I had the minimum lot size on it.
