So a 50% DD on 11% average monthly profit is not high for you? Thats a 5:1 risk adjusted return which is very average at best. There are real accounts with longer trading history and risk adjusted returns way better than this. Besides, this is a demo scalping account so real account results will be way worse (I would guess at least 30% worse profit with DD staying about the same). Nothing to really see here...

LOL, one of these days the account will blow up or get in a large DD. I wonder what @NewAgeTrading will say then? He will just open a new profile and start new account under a different name. Its just crazy how naive people are and think this kind of trading is sustainable after 1 month of results. @michaelkim, you should already have learned your lession since every trader you invested with blew up their account at some point. You know what scalability is? Its a systems ability to trade larger amounts without being affected by worse execution as the AUM grows. Your systems avg win is less than 5 pips and when the amount grows, the execution will become worse and your perfromance will suffer greatly. The lower the avg win is, the more results are affected. Thats why institutional clients are not interested in scalping strategies because at some point the liquidity is just not high enough and that is especially true for EAs that trade Asian session when liquidity is at its lowest. Yeah, DD is very relative. One of my most important metrics is average monthly profit vs max DD. For me a good system has the ratio of 1:3. Basically it means that average monthly profit has to be at least 33% of max DD to be considered as an investment opportunity. Now, max DD you see on myfxbook is not actual max DD. You have to ask the trader what the worse case DD is and that should be the max DD. For example an account shows 5% monthly profit and 5% max DD so far. Why risk so much if you can be making consisten profits with lower risk and compound the earnings safely? This kind of trading might be more profitable in the short term but long term the lower risk trading will be much more profitable. Do you want to be looking for a new system every 3 months and blow 50% of your money every 6 months?

Come on guys.... Its been 10 days and you already think this system is all that. This system is not sustainable long term, its not equiped to manage larger amounts because its not scalable. Give it a few months, bad things will happen like so many times before with similar systems.

You seriously can not calculate the trade size based on number of pips and % of loss or gain??Leverage has everything to do with trade size. Since you are commenting on everything at least you should know what you are talking about. I can tell you what trade size he used for every single trade without him having to open up that detail.

Your answer doesnt clarify anything, in fact it tells me you havent got a clue about how your system actually works. 3.5% stop is only set when you have a trade with traditional lot size size. Your history shows that every single time after a 3.5% SL was hit, you opened trades with 1:100 leverage and no SL. That means 1 pip is worth 1%!!! If that trade goes 15pips against you, then you have a 15% DD. This probably already happened, thats why you dont update your account regularly so I suspect your DD stat is way wrong.Apparently you dont even know how your own system works and I am starting to...

So you are trying to tell us that slippage caused by liquidity doesnt matter if you trade 5k or 500k? That is simply not true. Ask anyone who dealt with small and large accounts and they will tell you that there is no way performance is the same. Compare a small account to a large one and tell me entries/exits are the same. It was easily predictable. Its a grid system using a huge leverage. Anyone can do what he did when the market is in a tight range. As soon as it broke out, the account was blown. Just like all other grid systems out there. This strategy is never going to work or it works to a certain extent. Some grids are profitable but their risk adjusted returns over long period are terrible so you are better off to go with a non grid system.

Exactly. This systems avg profitable trade is less than 4 pips and trade expectancy is 1.5 pips. Thats not scalable and even a 50k investment could already distort the perfromance for the worse due to liquidity limitations. The DD would get higher and profits would be lower which means Calmar ratio is going to suffer. Hedge funds are trading billions and this system is definitely not something they would ever use, it would not even be profitable.
