hi,5 - 8% consistent is very resonable, my personal view again, with 5 to 8% the DD should always below 20%. If it is higher than 25% then again it is not worth the risk. Meaning need to tune the system or MM.Regards,SIM

Hi Dimitry11,The DD of 8% is actually human mistake. I accidentally enter 10 times larger of lot size onto the EA. Suppose i enter 0.01 instead of 0.1 this is the reason of big DD. As you can see on February, the return is 20%. This is almost not possible by using my EA + MM. February has such a high return because i accidentally enter 0.1lot onto my EA. In addition you can check my trading history for that month to make sure what i had said. This EA should has DD of less than 6% all the time with 3% monthly return. (At least from August 2009 )Thanks,SIM

For me, myfxbook is mainly used for tracking my trading result. This is one of the best analysis website that i ever seen. Regarding discussion and forum, it is for user to share their opinions. If you are running any forex account, please share it with member here.About successfully trading using EA, this is depend on trader. I am not sure what do you mean by "successfully" here. For me "successfully" means that trade with consistent profit month by month with a minimum acceptable profit or ROI.Regards,SIM
