Finally, managing to move the account to the positive (for daily gain). Aim is to make the $100/day mark. Its the 6th day of trading and ideally the account should be at least $5600. Currently at $4907. So today's task is to make up for the lost trades previously for a gain of $633.23.Trades from now on will be carefully made with double confirmation of entry/exit signals.

Ticket 3979666 Opened by Heiken Ashi EA is still running. Parabolic SAR just started plotting a SELL signal. Will be going all in on this one to make up for the past losses. Hoping to bring back the equity to atleast 4500 while letting the USDDKK (Long @ 5.83379) do its work for the rest of the week.

Tickets 3979665/3979666 - Was testing out the Heiken Ashi EA. Doesn't seem like a good idea as it placed orders way after the signals were received. But better experiment than regret.

I agree with james. Using the wicks also helps in defining a better trend because it represents the high/low in a candle and thus enables you to find better support/resistance levels.

I've been using Parabolic SAR for a few days now and so far got a decent success. I decided to be adventurous and started trading a 4 Hour Silver chart (yesterday). But the trade went bust.The PSAR showed a BUY signal and I went long at 32.75 in hopes that the price would move higher.I'm starting to think that the ideal entry into a trade (during a BUY signal/upward trend) is to open a position at the low rather than at the high. Is this true?Attached is the silver h4 chart. Any inputs would be greatly appreciated.

As a metals trader, i'm primarily interested in reading about silver. The EA's/Signal providers section doesn't have the option to filter that data. I think it would be good to add some criteria so we can narrow down the EA/signal providers based on the markets they focus on.

sandelchayes, your post brings out an interesting point. There are lots of information/resources of prices of metals moving higher blah blah.. but seldom find any information that speaks about what can devalue the price of metals. Would be nice to see if someone with experience and the knowledge could shed some light on that.

Hey Guys, i'm hoping someone can advise me on plotting USDX chart on Spot silver. I have been searching around but couldn't find much info on this. I use MT4.Appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction on how to plot a USDX chart onto the XAGUSD.Thanks once again.
