Yes correct, you have to sit through those, because this ea does not use an aggressive recovery strategy, which in the long run keep the draw down low and controlled.

So far so good!I'm comparing my live trades to backtests in order to determine if the ea performs similar in live markets than in backtest markets. The attachment show my live trades as well as a backtest during the same period. So far the similarity in equity curves is good enough for me, but I'll keep tracking it on a weekly basis.

Thanks, yes indeed I am, but still early days. However, I've got lots of confidence in this EA especially after comparing backtests with live trades - so far 93% are similar, which is great!

Thanks!During backtesting I used a 2 pip spread. Current spread at Hotforex's Zero Account is between 1.6 and 2.4. I'm going to switch to IC Markets shortly, because their spread is slightly lower and their commission is less.

Notice in the chart attached how this EA did not trade during the breakout/waterfall type price action period. Normally you would find that swing trade type ea's will keep adding buy order during such a period anticipating that price must swing back up. This is also why many people do not like swing trades, because once a currency starts trending like this you start loosing... But, I have something special in the entry conditions that prevent this ea from trading during these conditions and adding to the losses. Notice how the ea only started trading after price settled down in a range aga...

That stats rob is referring to is from his own account, which is different from my account as far as broker, spread and execution goes. Also my account has not been running from the beginning of Sept. The risk setting will also produce different results, because of volume per trade will differ.
