I made a point of watching MDP during NFP today. It is most definitely the spread that keeps it from taking these awesome trades. i wish i could get in and code a piece so that it would accept wider spreads if the market moves, say.....30 pips in a spike. If it would have accepted a 2.5 or 3.0 pip spread, that first NFP spike would have easily been another few trades of +20 pip winners.

I did. Absolutely nothing. No lost connection, no attempted orders, no failed orders.....nothing. Absolutely no logs during that time period. At the very least, there should have been some stop orders. But no. Nothing.

Yeah, pretty much every account I have looked at caught the trades and made a boatload of cash. Not mine though. I am starting to wonder if it is my VPS. I am using Red Paladin.

Ouch. You have my condolences. I have killed the USDJPY pair. it hardly ever trades and will take forever to make it back. Plus....BOJ interference. I should have been anticipating it though as the jpy had been starting to gain strength again.

No, I did not create them. I just found them and figured out how to set them up properly. But, as I said, this is not proven fully yet. I am waiting a while to see how it handles different scenarios. we finally had a hard run with no pullback. I have a big DD open currently and I am seeing how it handles the DD. My point for posting is two-fold. Hehehe...#1- I am thinking about giving out the info to everyone. #2-I am just seeing how much it antagonizes the skeptics. I know, I probably shouldn't do that....but it is funny. 😁

This is completely off topic, and is still not ready to tell anyone about yet.....due to potential big losses. But, I am running a combination of 4 systems on one account using several currency pairs. Don't ask me to open my account for public viewing because...as i have said, this set is not yet proven solid and sustainable. No scalpers. Base trade size is 0.1 lot. Yes. The USDJPY almost never trades. I have had it running for a month and it has traded once.

i have to agree with that analysis. I have run on 2 accounts, 1 with IBFX and 1 with ILQ. The IBFX account speeds sit right around 300ms and today was a big losing day for me. On the other hand, my ILQ speeds are sitting at around 3000ms and today was a good day for it.
