Wow, 1000 pips per day with low DD. You definitely are out of my league. Craneliu, I know lots people hate add on loser which is concept brain washed by mainstream guru. Who is buying when you are selling? How those smart money make money while most individuals lose? Have option selling have same equity curve as Tomsea?ss

Hi, FugheVery nice stat for your system. If you can automate it and show for long period time it still maintain them, you get winner. Currently with interest rate less 1% per YEAR, Tomsea will give you month to month 2-4% without spend any of your time (time is money), what is wrong to add it to be part of your income generator? Traders got into trouble with Tomsea is because they use higher risk level trying to achieve higher return per month. This EA definitely will not get you rich in very short period of time. For 4% monthly return, it will take 10 years to turn 10k into 1 million.ss

You actually don't need as strong as steel as long as you have fully understand how this EA and martingale principle works and trade it with right mentality. My account has totally recovered from over 40% paper loss back to pre DD level. My solution is simple: just add more fund to the account to ride the DD and use risk level to give about 5-6% monthly return. this EA beats all option selling systems.ss

BTW, in principle you hedge is because you don't know what will happen in the future. You buy insurance and it cost your money. Traders who use hedge when they are in losing position are in illusion because they can not time the market so that they are in trouble. Now they think they can time the market to make money in both ways. ss

You would be right if there were no hidden stop loss.So if there is no SL and i pump more moeny in it would recover after timeBut with the fixed SL it just took huge losses and ruin the account.And market at least for EUR was pretty straightforward - down for last weeks...several 600 pip loss for 0.01 lot position will not blow up you account. Unfortunately, for us resident, there is no real hedge trade. like FXDD which offer hedge equivalent, they basically put hedge trades to another account in back end.ss

For people who have traded with TEA for awhile, we all know the big DD will eventually recover with minimal loss ONLY if you don't get margin call. Add more fund to your account is best solution for martingale strategy during DD. You have to find balance of monthly percentage gain vs max DD you can tolerance for the long run. Just remember, for martingale system, you only need one moderate retracement to recover all those paper loses. Market NEVER go straight line.ss

the large drawdown of TEA stems from accelareted add on to losing basket with fix interval instead of slowing down addon when trend speed up. both large losing basket compounds with increasing lot size make very difficult to avoid margin call. Unforturnately, TEA does not provide a control to stop addon temporally without lose ablity to manage open positions. One solution I can think of is to close profitable addon before turn to lose again during raging trend.ss

Unfornaturnately, Flopps, by deactive EA, it will only stop hedging positions but not adding losing basket. I found out this because I did exactly you did. Only way to stop EA for the pair is to uncheck "allow live trade". I have asked Ivan who told me this is normal behavior for the TEA.Song

I was doped to buy his EA because I believe somehow he faked his myfxbook record. He is complete scam artist. He just ignore my email asking for refund. My myfxbook demo is exactly same as yours.ss
