Manual.I switched this account over to baskets of 50.00, so it hit quite a few.however, it is back on track now to make pips... :) Testing live 50.00 baskets. I probably picked the worst time to test this as I didn't get but a day or so to actually make some pips before the market ran very hard. However, when it starts ranging again, this should be ++ in pips. If I have the stomach to wait that long. In about 5 months running Blessings, this is the 2nd worst I have seen my DD... not worried... I am experimenting here on this account now.Gil

Yes. Basket of trades could mean two things:1. Basket of trades per currency.2. Basket of trades per $ amount.I reference both, so I apologize.:)Gil

MB trading is a good company in my opinion. However, you will still have Uncle Sam knocking on your door. I am moving out of any American based brokers except ATC... :)

I think it is funny that you are fulfilling what you are being critical of.... :) Why would you care if people are policing things? Why do you believe these people have 'no life'? Are you passing judgement that how you do things is 'right' and what others do is 'wrong'? Much like others post about what is wrong/right, you are doing the same... :)I don't need to defend myself as it is my life and my right to do anything I choose including ripping off people with EA's... haha.. Yes, I know.. It took me a while to figure this out, and it may not work.The thing that is good is that I started all of this with the market moving quite a bit. This will give me an idea of how bad the DD will get. :)Do the calculations. You will be astounded....Gil

Imagine this:1. Drawdown Lower due to EP being hit sooner2. Sooner basket hits EP, the sooner it gets on the trend (more pips)EQUALS More baskets per 1K, normally basket would be much larger, 1 basket per 14 pairs traded = 500 x 14 = 7,000.00With 10.00 baskets, Margin = 3.00 (Go) 1.00 (Insta) + 10.00You will not need the full 10.00 for all of them as the chances they all explode at once is very unlikely.90% of the time, baskets tend not to exceed X for each currencyNow, I won't type up all my calculations, but imagine a monthly commission from cashbackforex.com for about .5 standard lots...

If you trade with these settings you mentioned, you will hit EP at least a couple times probably per year. The key is if your Grid profits are greater than your EP's.....You will see I have smaller EP's set for my baskets. My hope is that I can sustain or be at least close to 0.00 for each basket. On 1,000 I can have a lot more 10.00 baskets then 200.00 baskets (which is default and what you are talking about...)The largest drawdown I have seen on any currency through backtesting was 2,000.00 on a Nano account which went to 15 levels on EURJPY this year....That was 20% of my 10K acc...

Mainly the matrix... :)Also, I close out trades when/if they get to a certain point. I use the EE or whatever it is called in that my TP goes down with time.what else... Hmmm.... Oh, BE after 5... on most of the medium to fast currencies...So far, the only thing working very well is my big bucket trading nano...The market the last 2 weeks has been rough on blessings for some reason. My profits haven't been high and my DD's on some pairs have been high for the amount of $ coming in..I would say a pretty terrible 2 weeks, but not as bad as first few weeks in July...

Vin,Do what you feel is right... :) I believe without checking that I left it at 25 to start. I may have moved it on some to 30... Usually I am within 5 on some pairs etc... Experimentation...I would never go 50/100/200 on GBPUSD... I will start with 25 or 30GBPJPY 35 to 40GBPNZD 65 - 75 etc...

I am using 1M standard settings... Out of the box...On 'fast' pairs I use larger matrix... I have pretty much eliminated fast pairs for this type of configuration.Because the market is so trendy right now, I do expect it to be a negative account. Possibly losing 30.00 by month's end. However, once it turns back to a ranging market, this will make it up. It is nice knowing what your maximum loss is....Gil

I comment on that on the other thread. Please read through that as I don't want to type it all again.Most pairs I leave alone. However, I have what I call 'fast' pairs like gbpjpy and gbpcad etc.. They get modified matrix.... bigger... Like GBPCAD, I may do 40/80/120 with TP of 80/160/240:)

Don't look at 30%....I almost blew up the account. I was playing around to see how well I could do....You see, this is all deceiving as too many people do this. I can have 10 accounts and deposit a very small amount of capital and it will explode in % profit. Then, I just do the occasional deposit and on myfxbook.com it looks like I made this really great return when I didn't. haha....It is easy to make things look better than they are....
