the move completed, and although it wasn't perfect, it was still possible to get about 180 pips from this move.

not sure i agree with your statement completely. they're probably the biggest community of traders, but who said they're experienced? i only see there traders claiming to trade, but i don't see any real results, unlike here on myfxbook.

not sure why's everybody here quick to yell 'scam'?he does in fact states this is demo. and as we all know, you could be making millions with a strategy in a demo account, while loosing your shirt with the same system with in a live account.

well, why do you test it on a live account? as you might have noticed, mine is on a demo.so far, after all of my tests, i've just found how to slow down the margin call, but can't find a way to eliminate it.

hi jriechers!no, i'm don't share the ea - it's still being developed though.i haven't had enough experimenting when going against the trend - that's why it worked so well; so far the trend was overall up.

hi darren, thanks for the comment.i haven't made the trade yet, just something that i'm exploring. i don't really like formations like shooting stars, dojis or any of the several candle patterns - i just find it too random.the right shoulder is too low if you look at it horizontally, but as i've shown in the image, the head and shoulders formation is occurring inside the downtrend channel, so if you were to look at it after rotating the channel to be horizontal, you would see it's a perfect head and shoulders formation.just testing it though, i really hate making trades aga...

Jenks, this is a correct observation.whenever i have a wide channel, there is a natural support/resistance going right through the middle of the channel:<a href=http://www.myfxbook.com/files/biz0101/39.png target='_blank'><img src=http://www.myfxbook.com/files/biz0101/39.png /></a>my theory is that price only moves straight when there are no support or resistance blocking it, or else it will just move to the next support/resistance area.so that's why i will exit at the nearest major resistance (if we get there).

great.moving to my next trade - looks like an excellent setup in the 4h, eurusd :<a href=http://www.myfxbook.com/files/biz0101/38_hK.png target='_blank'><img src=http://www.myfxbook.com/files/biz0101/38_hK.png /></a>as you can see, the entry point now lies on a double support - the support of the primary channel, and the support of the broken secondary channel (resistance becomes support and vice versa) - which increases the probability of this trade.take profit is the resistance of the the channel on the daily, and sl is about the the same distance as the take profit...
