When you have a high DD, but you are currently in the green, it means that your account has had very volatile movements. For example, you lose 20% in one trade, then you make 40%, then you lose 30%, then you make 35%, and so on. it means overleveraged, hence the big swings in your account balance.

Use traditional investments if you dont know how to trade, or learn how to trade yourself and dont give your money to anyone, if you lose at least you have the satisfaction that it was you losing the money and you got left with the experience rather than having someone else lose it for you.

A system that works manually will not necessarily work automatically. If it is working manually, it is because the trader knows when and how to filter the signals. An EA has to be too sophisticated to be able to do that.

I agreed that to make it consistently in the Forex market one must be very discipline, dont take too long in a position, the less exposed, the best. Keep it simple. Price action, watching the markets live, how they react in real time to news and other events, openings, closings, etc is more valuable than trying to find the holy grail indicator that doesnt exist.

I cannot say anything about this guy's signals, because I have not used them, but if there is a proven track record to back it up, then there shouldn't be any discussion. If the signals are good, then they are good, no system is 100% acurate. I will be more suspicious if someone showed me a track record with no loses at all.

How do you define a "system"? A poor system is a system that does not have proven statistics and filters. One should learn how to filter the signals given by your system, because no system is perfect, it WILL fail at some point. The important thing is to be prepared, that's all, and keep pulling statistics and probabilities out of your system. This is just a game of probabilities.
