I bought an EA from this site (http://redrhinofx com/), I then figured out that it was nothing else than a rip off and wanted my money back. The vendor never answered my e-mails and as he accepts only bitcoins I believe my money is gone for good.

Just set the loss limit! If the EA crosses it - turn it off and try to analyze what had happened. Maybe run the back test for the same period, see if it reacts the same way.
Do you think 1000% a year is sufficient ? What is your performance ?

1000% per month? ha-ha-ha!)) I doubt you can do that once! Not saying about a few months in a row. even if the original acc is 10$

It is not only about broker. Using VPS reduces the execution time, thereby the slippage. The important thing is how far you're from the broker's server. Try cross-connected VPS with any broker, it will decrease th slippage significantly, but it is going to cost you about 100$ per month.

Friend of mine used to be using it and he said that was working well. I'm not sure what he ended up with, especially after reading this thread.

It is all depends of your strategy. Like if you're Martingale lover, you might let your DD go almost to the point of margin call.

Probably it is the only way to make it work. Better to have several accounts. Or only trade the currancy of your account.
