Some claim this is Combo ripoff, but Boris says its actually ripoff from his company. How can one know who is copying from whom.seems he had this tfot availed before Combo, they been around long time. In discussing fakeability with myfxbook, if there is two green checkmarks atop it is un-fakeable. Myfxbook gets info directly from broker, and even the acct amount, you can talk with them yourself, I was given satisfactory evidence to this fact by myfxbook.Also I've seen the balance curves of the AlpariUS follow my ibfx & Finfx-micro, even as trades have happened.

Scottshay, Boris did find an ecn with lowest initial deposit of one Thou, its fxopen. He recommends to most closely be like his AlpariUS Pro which requires $10K deposit. I'd be interested if you start a site or forum with your kind of deeper looking & insight.

Scottshay, I have 8mo 5min backdata test using live$ MT4 terminal data, it's been following both my TFOT on ibfx and Finfx-micro and also iticsoftware's myfxbook charts. While they don't track 100% trade-by-trade, the balance curves seem to track. If you want the report email me, batchj at earthlink (dot) net. I too feel the backtest must mostly follow live$ forward, so far this seems to be the case, but I worry some now as I don't know if Euro or USD is getting too enturbulated for this EA, i.e., "its better days over?" Boris, well......it was recovering, now not so. I fear TFOT's better days might have passed due to the ongoing crisis with Euro & USD, would it be possible to find pair of countries that have stable economies and "mold" TFOT to quite a few years of backdata on that? Finfx yields 6-1/2yrs of 1min data for most pairs (as one example of data available). Those interested in this say "yay".

Let me guess, you also bought it around holidays like I did. As Boris pointed out to me, there was also drawdown around June '11 as you'll notice on balance chart for TFOT's myfxbook. Aren't you also getting a slight beginning of a recovery?

demo acct are useless, they are smoothed over & different than live quotes. If you read my recent posts you'd see I threw in towel on expecting trade-by-trade replication of trades, that is live to test replication hopes. TFOT does its thing on NFA or not NFA, only way I found is to compare % equity changes live with iticsoftware's AlpariUS acct, and I see it generally follows in performance, which has been of good relief from frustrating over. Hi Mellyforex, some say TFOT was a copy of Combo using only 2 of the strategies, others and author at iticsoftware say they are the originator copied from, but whatever the case, go to members/iticsiftware and checkout the over one year +300%/yr performance, hands down better than Combo (I'm not a rep, just a buyer). Its more costly, but looks worth it. Fxopen has a $1000 min deposit ecn, good place to have TFOT run, albeit for now I came in less and am at ibfx & Finfx-micro for the time-being. I bought TFOT just before Xmas, so its in a bit of a dd, but its now recovering like itics...

Demo accts are useless for tester or live as it is a broker smoothed-over version of live quotes. I used a live acct at ibfx and over 6 month period prior to December tfot did fine in test, doubled the acct @ 5% risk and dd not bad. Now I'm running live$ on Finfx micro and ibfx and since prior to Xmas these have generally followed tfot of iticsoftwares on AlpariUS, not by trade-by-trade but by general equity win/lose path curves. Currently it seems like it is returning to recovery, hopefully the market doesn't have too much more of these instability periods, but even if it does, I feel...

My TFOT with smaller Finfx-micro acct is doing similar to this TFOT on AlpariUS larger acct. So I can't give comparative eval of how it fairs compared to larger Pro acct.Anyone here running TFOT on an fxopen $1000 Pro acct? Or just a smaller acct somewhere? When I was running both around holidays it looked like some strange behavior going on, so I opted for just eurusd. I felt back then it may be some odd interaction of both chart EA's using one .dll. not sure if such feeling is conclusively true, but now seeing this 17% dive with Boris' setup, hmm. Of course, there has been 23% ddd for eurusd by itself so who knows 'til this is run for awhile. My TFOT is on eurusd only, and due to volatility and holidays its only "keeping its head barely above water". Like I say on eurusd-only-TFOT discussion, fxopen's-$1000-ecn sugges...

5% seems like nothing for drawdown, take a look at dd for eurusd by itself, 23%! Its supposedly meant for how it fairs on the long-run.

Does anyone here run TFOT on a smaller acct? Mine is $670 on Finfx-micro.It may be that TFOT is good for only Pro big accts like AlpariUS-Pro as opposed to whats told that it be good on any acct. I've run mine for a month on Finfx and haven't gotten anywhere yet, albeit there was holidays covering half the time. Boris does admit there is quote + spread differences, guess meaning it most likely won't do as well. He says he will think about putting a Thou w/ TFOT at fxopen-ecn, he found this broker as lowest deposit ecn, .....says they may do. Perhaps more of you can either encourage...

Jolly good. Doesn't this combo pair report look smoother than eurusd alone? Thats why it be good to see if Borys can add usdcad "to the mix" as you suggest.

Just found it too, Boris uses the muitli reporter software to combine the two separate tests, link to that software is atop that report url: http://iticsoftware.com/experts/report/TFOT-eurusd_usdcad_1999.htm the increase of profit isn't the point, as when running both the lots on each would be smaller, the main thing is smoother ride....see relative dd, just a little over 2%.

I "second the motion", because iticsoftware site shows the two pairs back-tested ok, and as diversified combo live it could very well be even smoother less jagged equity curve.......albeit .........eurusd all by itself isn't anything to complain about.

I talked with myfxbook thoroughly and find if both green checkmarks atop a myfxbook acct then it's impossible to fake, broker acct, deposit $ balance, trades, authority to trade, its all confirmed. Boris was most amenable to fixing one red checkmark that showed for a moment, it was just investor password difficulties.
