Every major broker restricted RUB trading.. So, ruble will fall, until brokers allow trading again -> another bull rally.

I have quite strong opinion about martingales, grid trading, and other gambling technics - stay away from them, they always, always are too good to be true. They don't belong to trading world. Betting systems never reduce risk or make any system better. They are meant to make systems LOOK good, by hiding the small risks to one enormous risk. If a system cannot work without a betting strategy, it never works. If a system is good even without a betting system, it doesnt need one!

True^. Also, when ea is made the way there are lots of small profits and never loss, there will probably be a big loss coming some day. Statistics are also warning: Profit factor is over 4, but sharpe ratio only 0.05. This should raise alarms.Of course this can really be a good ea, future will show us ;)

System: The rules of opening and closing trades.If one's system gives bad signals and they need to be filtered, the system itself is bad IMO. How do you define failing? A loss trade? A drawdown percent? When I build ea systems, I set the lot size small enough to prevent over 30% DD in multi-year backtest. Also the system should recover from any drawdown in less than 3 months.

Where did you get that DD percent? In your backtest there's 30% drawdown.

Well, thats partly right, though we should not think we are losing because there is "junk" in our system. Simpler system isn't always a profitable system or even better than complicated system. Bad system is always bad system, which 90% of systems actually are.

Of course everything is possible with leveraged account. Just like anything is possible in poker and roulette. Is it expectable? Nope.

btate1991, i'd be very, very careful! Trying to win back losses by increasing risk is maybe the best way to ruin everything. I knows because I have tried.

I think the cause is prerrt simple: Only way to earn in forex is to have skill to predict the market. We think that we have that skill, based on few lucky trades, but actually only minority actually knows where the market is going. Others are just gambling, no matter how good "risk management" they have.

Couple of thousands... Promised myself to never manual trade again :D I have been building ea's now, and I think my current project will get the money back...Would be nice to know how big % of all forex investors are lost more than won :D I guess it is around 90%
