Oanda FIFO change May 30

Oh my G-D. Oanda is starting to look like a big joke really. It's the forum members who figure out by trial and error how it's supposed to work. I tried it with 2 possies and indeed I can close whichever I want. But with 3 or more, the FIFO rule kicks in.http://tinyurl.com/oandinho

Nice trade on the Cad today. Looking good for a short if that damned candle pattern plays out. Good reject off the 50ma on the daily. Keep going short and make me smile even wider - so far 40 pips and counting😉

Personally I risk 1.5% ( or round down ) on each trade and never expose more than 6% of equity...I feell comfortablewith this and it fits my trading plan......1.5% risk of growing equity ( or shrinking equity !! ) is not for everyone but i look at trading as more of a marathon than a sprint...........Think long term and preserve what youv'e got...

A lot of traders just use this site for analytical reasons only....This can give you a big edge in your trading..Why bother publishing your account if thats what you want from MyFxbook.........

I think size could be vary according to the trigger.I personally use 1% - 5% per order depending on the trigger, 1% - 3% for scalping, 1%-2% for swing , 3%- 5% for scalping trend breakout.Unless the trade are using exactly the same condition for trade trigger and same risk:reward, else I think it would be much better to varies our lot size dependin...

I mostly agree. There is no sense to lie about anything. As my grandma is saying everything that's hidden will be found. It is better to be honest and keep things open for all to see especially in this business.Once caught lying trust cannot be gained back.Forexscam is showing due diligence in my opinion. @zzzero -- Thanks. I like MT4 also, but I'm leaning toward an ECN broker that uses MT4. This site: http://www.100forexbrokers.com makes it easy to find these brokers. It seems that MB Trading gets pretty good reviews, but I'd gladly use another broker if it's better.--trendmaster

Well,If you expect to have row of losers I think it would be the best to lower your size down to zero, have a sleep, and go back trading next week maybe..? ;)Honestly, I used to feel fear after row of winners that it can't go this good forever and surely enough I was taking bad trades after that...It's called psychology :)

If you make more money on that 84k even if he place trades by himself, than if you traded 10k ONLY by yourself, then continue with it. But you can show him (client) a real monthly profit chart, and also a chart where you'll remove HIS trades. If recovery and sharpe ratio are better if only YOU placed trades that that should be enough informatio...
