Next big mover is the NFP tomorrow. Don't think BoJ or ECB is particularly happy with the weaker dollar.

It is Daghi tomorrow along with US jobless claims, not to mention the uproar if BOE goes 9-0. We could see the 1.13, or we could see the return down to 1.10 levels.

At a time well before that. You buying or selling will be well equal to a interest cut. You will move the market against you. I even found it harder to make short term profits using say 20-30 lots on minor currencies since you tend to move the market. Especially outside their trading sessions.If you intend to trade with say a billion. You will need a whole different strategy.

I can't say for sure, but as Belgium impose no capital gains taxes on stocks (from what i can gather, it is only imposed on real estate), I suppose they won't tax forex as it is a form of capital gains too.

But OPEC denied it. It still didn't fall back to the levels before the news. There is lot of news, but little action. It might continue to rally a bit, but I wouldn't be too optimistic in the long run.

Seems that people are following Kuwait's OPEC Governor Nawal al-Fezaia hint that the oil-rich nation is ready to cut production (ready to cooperate if the rest of the oil producing countries will too). Doubt this will have any real effect on the oil markets. As we've heard a lot of talk before (from counties like Iran, Venezuela, Nigeria), and little action. And people are jumping in on a short term rally.

But we don't see the US rig counts drop. No one wants to cut the production. It might start to meet resistance at 25$ levels since Saudi-arabia will start to struggle with profitability. But remember we've yet to see the effects of Iran entering the global oil market.

If you don't need MT4, I would highly recommend Interactive brokers. Low comission, very often positive slippage on limit orders, inkluding TP. Fast execution, and full transperency (including what liquidity provider matched the order), gives you max leverage that US regulations allow. Used them for half a year myself.

It doesn't matter. The difference between all of them are in the nano second scale. Well optimized Linux totally crush most windows setups under heavy load.I just run mine on Windows Server 2012 currently, have a DLL for my EAs that require 2012 features. But it used to run on exactly the same performance on 2008. And I have the exact same ping to my brokers.

Been quite happy with Pepperstone. The spread does not widen much for news or weekend. At closing this weekend its at 0.5 pip for EURUSD, 0.6 for USDJPY. With most brokers I see spreads going to 3-4 pips+. With Oanda its at 10 pip.Fxopen is good too. It widens more than Pepperstone in the weekends. And have worse spreads for minor pairs. But you save plenty on the commission.
Does myfxbook have a way to see max margin level ever used?

Just skimming through everything I can't seem to find it. Would be very useful, especially since I wish see how much margin my systems really need.

I believe the re-authorization stuff was fixed in metatrader 4 more than a year ago.

Can't complain about the execution speed, it also has 0.5ms from Beeks VPS, the liquidity, the spread (I have yet to detect any mockups here) all good.They offer maximum leverage on any account size. Very few brokers give that to 100.000$+, or even 50.000$+ accounts.Higher comission than many other brokers. But for long term trades they take less swap charges than say fxopen.
What is your daily target??

My goal is more like 5% a week. Not consistant as I rather play safe one week to take higher risk on major news a week later. Still less than 20% drawdown in 7 months.Trading high risk - high reward on a different account, I managed to make about 60% a month, but had over 50% drawdown in august. This is extreamly unsafe.Daily goals are dangerous as you might be foreced to take unsafe trades.
