EA ECN Forward Test 2

First trade for verification purposes, not part of system.I am unable to open a ECN demo under 50k so I will be reducing the risk percent from 20% to 10% as at around 100k the account will cap out at 50 lots and I want to avoid that for a while because when the cap is hit it inherently reduces both profit % and risk %. For the moment, the EA is not active. There are some serious spread issues due to market volatility, some pairs are trading at 3x their usual spread. This directly affects the profitability of the EA.This is the last demo account to test this EA before I go LIVE.

Please consider this EA and Account offline - Im going to let it run just for the fun of it, but the holiday liquidity issues are starting to cause problems. Already I am seeing spreads on my ECN account that are 2-3 times larger than normal. This is making it impossible to analyze and further test as MT4 is using the spreads that are currently locked at close of Friday session. I wont go live until 1/5/2010 at the earliest, and may add one more week to that depending on spreads and volume.

Lost a large % of profits yesterday due to some unknown factor (no news that I could find) that caused a large spike down in GBPJPY. However, the system is designed to handle 3 losses in a row so Im not particularly worried about it. Thats the point really, my risk tolerance is much higher than the average trader, just something to consider for those of you interested. This system can have up to 50% drawdown at any given point, even at the very start, which luckily didnt happen on this account. This is a "close your eyes and hope" system. Will I trade it with real money? I already am...

Huge spike down just triggered SL, negating what was a very profitable trade. Thats what SL's are for... on to the next trade.

Hmm, i thought I had opened it with the client on my VPS, but while the mails are there they arent for that account so I have to assume that particular mail is with whatever machine I opened it on, which could be 1 of 4, lol. I think its on my work laptop which is currently getting fixed as it had a critical hardware failure. Ill check my home computer when I get home, but since I do most trading while Im at work, its most likely on the laptop. I will update everyone when I can get that figured out as I know some of you would like to see that Im not scamming as 400% in two weeks is hard to bel...

Well crap... when i opened this demo to forward test this project, i didnt record the investor password, or the trader password for that matter. Oh well. Its not ready to go LIVE yet anyway, though it just poked over the 400% profit level... !:)

Account is up to 391% profit in two weeks so far (equity), a recent 21k TP was a nice push over the 300% level.

Not the best way to start out the week, especially after making some adjustments. Not entirely sure why at this moment, but only one pair traded today for an intial loss of -5538.77, but opened another trade in the opposite direction for a trade that is now 6423.49 regaining that loss and some profit and not even half way to the TP objective. One of the major changes I made was the hours the trades were made which, unlike before, is now different for each pair. Originally it would start trading at 9:00 GMT and stop trading at 18:00 GMT. Crap, when I made some changes to this EA I forgot to load this account with 5% instead of 20% risk.... so instead of a 5% loss, I just took a 20% loss.

Average Daily Gain = 3.14%Extrapolated over 20 days (4 trading weeks) compounded comes out to an 85.58% gain. While its peanuts compared to the other account, im risking 1/4 as much per trade and drawdown is under 20% still. An additional 20 days turns into 244.42% gain. Hard to avoid looking at the other account though, as the same extra 20 days turns into an astounding 106,848.82% gain, with a dollar amount over 10 million. Silly aint it.

Analysis is showing that 3 of the pairs traded have great R/R, but EURUSD has a slight negative R/R right now... most likely due to the unaccountable 500 pip drop recently.

Ive had a few requests for managed accounts, so let me say this for everyone. Ive only been testing this for 1 week! In backtesting it turned 10k into 500k in two months, but thats backtesting. As found out today, there are some minor issues with closing times that have to be worked out and thats what forward live testing is for. I wont put any of my own money into this until next month, and while I wont turn down money from someone to manage an account, everyone needs to be aware that A: these results are based on 20% risk per trade and that B: i have another forward test going with 5% trade ...
