I have an other ea that is long with opening on same level one day before. Position still open as well. This ea is always opening on longer time frames (i guess) and keeps for some daysI have other eas that sold yesterday near this level (For a short time i had 5 open positions on EURUSD :shock:)One EA opened today a new SELL, based on breakout stratgey.So i have BUY and SELL what gives a certain harmony ;) Who touches first to close ?!

250 PIPS is a technical security stop loss, NOT the final SL the traders behind will use ! This should be less.

Any Ea has the following data :leverage, account balance. fxseer ha a risk factor AND A GIVEN BALANCE TO TRADE. With given 500$ there is NO way to open 1.19 LOT in a single position at least what my nerves can carry. Or can somebody explain this to me ?

i think i have tio stop this completley . EA opened yesterday evening 1.19 LOt without recognizable reason (e.a. no losses before), what is on 1:50 leverage half of my money is bound and complete loss of money is question of time. :(

On some pc it might not work to install metatrader in progam or program68 directory. There is in issue with "UAC" rights aboutI always install NOT in program(68) folder but in normal directory, because metatrader directory will be written all the time with open files what is not a normal thing for pure program files. The save option might fail ?! Look into "experts" and "journal" tabs anyway to make sure no errors occur.

I had exactly 10 PIPS. when the close command came through ea, the order was already closed readched tp.An error entry was made into the log ;) nice error, more of this ! ;)

@FXJester, there is an other real test in the Net : 40% and 50% almost lost (test was a couple of month, there was the big loss in between). 15% and 65% won. I run with 65% and it trades at least 2 times a week. January : 3 8 9 10 13 14 15 16 17.

EURJPY or any pair with JPY might be dangerous at all ?! Draw down was terrible. The size of account was big enough. smaller account swould habe been blown off. Thinking of taking way EURJPY out of my own FXSplitter basket.

50% opens 4 positions, 65% opens always 1 single position. -> so 65% is more stable in nervous market conditions ?So 1 risky position is better than 4 (each other supporting) positions in nevous market times.

The hard inbuild SL is only for security reasons. They will close the trade before if the chance seems to be lost to get back to win areas.

I also calculated the risk for this (and my account)With settings "1000$ 65%" ea openes every deal a single 0.22 LOT position Hitting SL (is always 90 PIP on the 'Session 1' time frame ) this results in 198$ loss (1:500).If this should be a 2% risk for single trade one has to keep a 9900$ balance.If this should be a 3% risk for single trade one has to keep a 6600$ balance.If this should be a 4% risk for single trade one has to keep a 4950$ balance.With every closed position in profit you lower your current risk due to the fixed "1000$ 65%" (or "500$ 65%" ...

I assume fxseer has changed the settings from 1000$ 65% down to 500$ 65%,because the position size changed from 0.22 LOT to 0.11 LOT ?!This might be healthy step to show a real working profit account.My account is synchronous except the position size is kept to 0.22 LOT because i hope to recover from former 50% settings which cost me 20%with the single break last year.Let's see how fast the fxseer 50% account will revover.Would be helpful to see the complete settings fpr the accounts by vendor. Would the 50% setting reduce number of open positions when reducing $-value in the settings ?Wo...

@Bogdan that's fine and is true for all trades : worst trades musn't kill ones account.sphantom customer service answered to me to have 4% as maximum for my account and leverage what is 1:50.Reading through internet may result in choosing setting risk factor to 2% for any trades.If running multiple ea you may split risk on same or similiar currency pairs.

No problems with saving values.Open the *.set with text editor to verify your values. It's readable.(Probably missing rights in writing the file or located at on other place ?)
