Backtesting is just a way to say that theoretically a strategy will work base on past data. And the forward results will validate this theoretical result. And validation depends on the quality of data. Having 1minute data on a 15m TF strategy is only 15 data input. Thus the 90% model quality. If a newbie wants to learn about backtesting... there are articles on what backtesting is all about. I am not sure... but live results whether demo or live is more interesting than backtesting results. Ahh... a subject after my own heart. The idea of blowing an account as most people will say is down to pure money management. Most of them who uses martingale system are either under capitalize or they overtrade. In my opinion 3k is just to low even for a 0.01 micro lot. @daCoops sorry... i have never compared so I am not really sure. The developer of Cyborg have moved away from martingale (i believe) furthermore, the settings I found was base on an idea which I applied and found to be interesting. I did not follow the recommended settings or currency pair from the developer. So I seriously can't say for sure how it defers from the original EA.As for Blessing... I applied the same idea. Well... firstly... the winner needs to run 100 mini lots live before he/she can withdraw the winnings. So I suppose these guys are putting it in practice. 100% risk... why not? Further more no one stand to lose. The objective is to get to the prize. And the prize is a two step hurdle. Qualify into the top 3 and next qualify the 100 mini lot minimum requirement by FXDD. One may do well in the contest (demo) then... it's up to the winner to try and make it to the prize money... How I envy the current leader... 500%!!! 😇Hmmm.... just wondering... if the winner were to win the contest...

Cyborg strategy works on RSI and Stochastic indicator. It's good for ranging but not for trending.... So if RSI is down and Stochastic is overbought it shorts the market and vice versa. Two ranging indicators is just simply dangerous.... But then again... we Malaysian thrive on Danger... hehe

FXDD recently announce that they have increase their max leverage to 1:200. I guess FXDD found a way to around NFA rules. If not they would not have allowed hedging and changing their leverage to 1:200. FXDD has lost a lot of customers I believe because of NFA rules and they have worked around these so call 'customer losing' rules. Having experiences both situation... I am still trying to find if there is a balance between money management and martingale strategies. The idea of managing drawdown from martingale with probably hedging vs MM when trades are moving in your favour. Is there such a thing?

Nope... it is a modified version of Cyborg. But I don't think that guy is selling this EA anymore. And I just included Blessing 5.2 into the equation on one of the currency.Yes... That was the idea. 30 pip grid and retracting 30 pips in order to be safe. I have tested all the currency pair and so far only AUDUSD and EURGBP does seem to have 30 pip retracement after a big dip and the biggest dip is so far only 250 pips over 10 years before retracting 30 pips.
