Yes, you do change your mind quickly 😄Didn't see this before I made my post. So you short now? Or are you short and long at the same time?

You're quite brave entering a long position at the top! I do agree with your direction, however why not wait for a pull down to enter at a better price? Unless of course you think it won't go any lower..

Saeed, I must agree with Chikot on this one. I just can't see how your account can survive fat tails - it's just a matter of time before you get margin called.Do you have other accounts you've traded successfully for a longer period of time where the equity returns back to balance? If so, that would prove me (and the others) wrong.

Do those companies have any requirement for if you're trading part-time or full-time? Or are they interested only with positive figures? Also, do they allow you to trade the account(s) from your home? Or do you need to physically be in their offices? (I always wondered about these! 😄)

Sounds good. Quite surprising you're going with futures and not forex - I always though futures aren't that popular, especially if you're accustomed to quick moves like with forex. So you're currently doing this part time? Are you a bit scared to switch to full time? I mean, it's like putting all of your eggs in the same basket, so to speak. Do you have a plan B for the worst case scenario?
What are your thoughts on $5 No Deposit Bonuses?

Exactly. In some cases they even offer another bonus if you lose the previous one, just until you can make profit to convince you to deposit funds. This is what I call aggressive and misleading advertising.

😀 That's quite concise. How long have you been working on this if I may know? Were there times where you thought you're already there just to find out you're not? (this is something I've experienced many times and still do).

That's great to hear you don't give up. A big psychological factor in trading is to be able to hang in there through the rough times.

I do agree equity is appearing to diverge from balance, however the sample size is simply to small to determine that concisely - I think another week or two will give a clearer picture. As to open trades - it indeed appears as the stops are moved away just to keep the losses floating without realizing them, since the average win is 42 pips while he has an average floating loss of about 80 pips.

I'm wondering how many traders are actually trading for a living? Please do not spam you system here as that is not the point of this topic. What I'm looking to find out is the answers to the following questions, (if you are trading for a living):- How did you make the move from part time trading to fulltime?- What starting capital did you require to trade full time?- Has your performance changed once you did the transition from part to fulltime?- Are you happy with your decision?- Do you trade only your own money? Either yes or no, why?- Do you see yourself still trading fulltime in t...

6 months is a nice starting point. I don't have any experiences with pamm brokers.Nowadays I don't think most of the traders have any licenses, they simply work through different services such as pamm brokers or account mirroring services (like zulu, tradency). In any case, those can only help you in acquiring clients.
Do you prefer fixed spreads or dynamic spreads?

Besides the spread you see, you should also check the actual spread received. I saw somewhere a broker showing once price on the chart, but when you execute a trade, you get another.

Thank you for the chart, although I'm not sure what I'm looking at - is that a zigzag indicator? Or Elliot wave count? In any case, I'm afraid I still don't see anything which supports your trade. Here's what I'm looking at right now:http://www.myfxbook.com/files/James_Bond/gbpusd.gif

It's possible, but only a few can do this over and over again - those who are trading with a successful trading system and a money management in place, otherwise, you're doomed to fail from the start.

It's always easier said than done 😄. I'm sure in their point of view they're doing the best they can (to the best of their knowledge). What would you do differently if you were in their shoes? I for example wouldn't try to scare off businesses out of the US for one, as that definitely can't be of any good for the economy.
