Are you logging to different brokers in the same instance of MetaTrader? I believe that might lead to such errors as then the tester will download the broker's data on each test, so using different brokers (even though in the same terminal) will lead to different results.

How do you know that? I see at at least 4 different symbols traded. Looks like a hedging system to me.

Got it.Did you automate the download process of the csv also? Or are you manually downloading the files each day/week?

😀Yes and no. It is indeed the logical choice, however it would be much more interesting to see if you can keep up with the performance! 😄

I've never experienced such issues. Do you get such behavior with all EA's or only yours?

Went over your blog - you're doing a heck of a job documenting it! You must be math guru to have created such ea's. 😲

Very interesting stuff there! So do you trade it with a real account? Or are you still experimenting with it?

zzzero, reading through your posts, it looks like you have been in the same spot over and over again, until the account losses. I'm wondering how are you going to determine your system truly works? After x%? After x amount of time it's still profitable?

Well, not every system. For example, you can code a system where you create trendlines and trade off of those - there is simply too much discretion involved, so automating it would be an impossible task, imho.

You're quite disciplined - I would be eager (as most traders) to keep trading until I get back my losses once I lose a trade!

Very interesting. And when do you see most of these setups happening - in volatile moves or when there is low liquidity?

Is that the account in your portfolio? Or are you talking about a different system?

It sounds like you have flawed login in your EA - if you're getting an entirely different result on each backtest using the same data, there must be something wrong.

I appreciate your excellent explanation. Are you working with 2 brokers only? Or do you run the EA on say 10 brokers and open/close positions on both extremes?

Not necessarily - it looks sort of a hedging system. There are losing trades, so there is definitely a stop to positions, only it's not a hard stop loss.
