Yes i agree you have to use a stop loss for sure. It forms the basis of your trading plan. You cant measure your successful trades if one losing one can wipe out your entire week's work. It is key to have set risk to reward so no matter what trade youre in you can have idea of what you will get and then create a large sample size to see if the strategy is profitable

I always risk 1% but by reward is always 3 time this. I think thats the key. Now my accruacy is 90% or anything like it but i am profitable to where im happy

I would say its the most important with risk management. If you have both you are a lot of the way there imo

Risk is the most important thing to me for sure. If you gain lots and risk lots itll even itself out if you keep your risk tight in the end the gains will outweigh it. Also wont take a lot to do so

Really is true and also people realising that it is going to take years to master the skill. The complexities are hidden deep and once you break one layer another appears but it is all worth it in the end

I agree i think systematic approaches to trading and also risk management reduce the occurance of greed, fear of missing out etc. Its so key to be as robotic as possible and with good systems in place this is so much easier

There is a definite difference between trading and gambling. The industry is massive there is no way most would be in it if there was no rhyme or reason. It is important to have a plan and stick to it for sure though

I agree with this you should be fitting the strategy to the pair not the opposite way around. Some love trading GU but it doesn't suit their trading style. Its all about adapting to how you trade

Indicators are lagging for the most part and that means the edge you get from the diminishes sharply. It is hard to gauge in different market conditions too what some may do

I like 5m-15m i think when you have a strategy that fits this time frame it can strike a good balance between discipline and patience
