CanAmTypical martingale system - all martingale systems are DANGEROUS (with a capital capital D)!Based on probability alone, it can be likened to tossing a coin - good luck trying to "get a Head" when you keep getting Tails. The market either goes up or down, the ea either buys or sells, and you either make a profit or loss. But when 50/50 for a martingale ea, you are not going anywhere.In fact, a martingale ea is worse since it cuts profit quickly, yet leaves losses to continue mounting...You can only lose with this one.Better if it could cut losses quickly and leave profits to run ...

"I have had crap for results with FapT and megadroid is incredibly slow on its recovery from a loss, so.....I gave up on both of those a long while ago. So far, GPS is the only EA I have seen that holds a steady upward run. It isn't fast, and I hate it when it loses and does the recovery trade(because it is enormous), but...the GPS works.Now, if I knew exactly how each of those systems (megadroid and Fapt) work, I might consider running them again. In that instance I could decide if it was a good day for them or not. As is.... I do not trust either of them."----------------------...

fughe have u used GPS? What has been your experience with this?I only used GPS as it came with the VPS for IAMFX. I tried Megadroid and FapTurbo but with mixed results, so I have ceased using those two.

Would be good if pps could also post the broker they use - different brokers and settings will affect ea performance.I attempted toms ea on IAMFX with a $800 account - if you look at my system it seemed to work briefly, however the margin required (as this is martingale) gradually increased with the losing open trades, until eventually I had to manually close out the losing trades and take a $250 haircut. I no longer run this ea, but perhaps I chose the wrong broker/setting/too low balance???So far after two years searching I have only managed to find one ea that seems safe - and only with one...

From a net balance of about $750 to now $640, I had 23 winning trades in 24 hours, but since have had five always open losing trades at a total of $-160+.Check the Balance graph out - unless the markets are going its way this martingale system can't cope. I'm on lowest risk setting and it has stalled with no other trades since those losing trades started using up more margin. I am just gonna see what it does b...

TY! I had the urge to do the same thing - try this EA in a REAL account. I wonder why the developer did not do this???? (too stupid, a scammer, or just plain never got round to it)?

Ok, so is there a real money account yet?? I am tired of the old "here's the results (demo), buy the product and you will get the same on REAL money" BS!I am using IAMFX, with GPS forex and Nighthawk, but so far although I am never really losing trades, I am not really making much either. At least they are working where FAPturbo had not.Tell me if you have a real money account (esp. IAMFX) so I can see your actual real results.

The act in itself of using a "freeware" ea such as this should not be considered "stealing". Even if they sell the product and donate all profits to the rightful developer whom they freeloaded off should not be considered stealing (provided permission is granted by the developer to sell it - even repackaged / renamed).I think a crime of theft has only been committed here, if this person plans to keep the proceeds of sales to himself and not share with the developer.The FPA are already onto this - and they won't let injustices escape retribution.😇

He was on Demo account - DON'T TRUST DEMO. Demo is not the same as REAL. Try REAL money dude, I'd like to see your results then! :)Seriously, you play with REAL money is different to playing with PLAY (demo) money.

I have to agree. Very fancy flash platform impressed me until I couldn't find decent chart options or any ability to analyse the data better.You can only really use it to chat to other players real time - which is different.
What is considered a great EA? :)

Novice here (1-2 years experience with shares, CFDs and forex - FXDD):1. What % per month should it be averaging? This depends on my account balance. $1000 = perhaps I would want 500% ($5k) per month. $100,000 = perhaps I would only want 50% ($50,000) per month. I understand many people have a perception of greater return equals greater risk, however if you have an EA which manages risk extremely well (trailing stop, money management, etc.) you could definitely achieve very high returns and relatively low risk. Sure is possible. I mean a bank doing 22000% per annum may sound impossible, but I believe if you can take advantage of not even 50% or ALL market movements (every pip) that is an enormous amount of pips (and money).One trader here is approaching 1000%? Who - you? (I wanna see!!) :)
