In the strategy tester I have tested the ea for each month of the year 2020The robot gave low gains for the months of January, February, April, May and JuneThe only reason the ea gave a high percentage gain in the month of March is because of the huge drop in the price of GBPUSD from March 10th - March 19th. If the expert advisor is a scalping ea based on indicator signals you could set the take profit parameter to take more pips, say about 5 pips. In that way after the commission comes out you would be left with a profit.If such settings is not allowed in the ea then most likely it is an arbitrage ea

Since your balance is about half of signal provider's balance setting the multiplier to -2.0 should produce approximately the same drawdown but half of the profits of the signal providers'.Keeping the multiplier to 1.0 should give you about double the drawdown but approximately the same profits as the signal provider.

You can scalp without predicting the market. Find the trend on a higher timeframe and scalp in the direction of the trend

Stop loss doesn't have to be used at all once trading with a proper account balance and lot size ratioThe market for certain trading pairs (ranging pairs) only moves a maximum of a certain amount of pips every day, so taking your balance and lot size into consideration you know that the market will eventually turn around to hit previous supports and resistances eventually.
There is no short cut way.
