The reason why most traders and even 'self-appointed' MyFxBook money managers fail is not because of their strategy, but because of their 'psychology'.According to many published books and experts, trading success is 80% psychology and 20% strategy. If anyone had ever traded an account above $50k knows what I am talking about. And $50k is just 'pocket change' for most hedge fund managers.Also, that is the exact reason why "trading psychology" books are so popular on Amazon.com, and that is why hedge funds employ psycholog...

@miomax +9% profit with -40 pips loss last week is MARTINGALE in "my books". Even if you are hiding Trade History... (for obvious reasons...)And we ALL know what happens to ALL Martingale strategies. Sooner or later... But usually sooner...

(But I guess you are lying about that number, too.)Your promoted EA is a scam, as it has produced completely different trades on my REAL live IC Markets account than shown on MyFxBook. And that is a SCAM attempt in "my book". 😡You could prove me wrong by offering a Signal Service, but of course, you will not do it. You will not even Verify your Track Record (for obvious reasons)... Shame on you!

Come on!EA has been placed only on a single (i.e. ONE) pair on my MT4.Real Account size is 1200 Euros and risk setting is the lowest: 0.01.I guess I have somewhat more credibility on MyFxBook than You, Mr. RubinFx from RUSSIA... Please look at how many vouches You got from fellow MyFxBook member and how many I got... For CREDIBILITY...See real account screenshot below.

REAL account trades and results are COMPLETELY DIFFERENT from what are shown on the performance page of RUBINFx.I am running this EA on a REAL (i.e. not demo) IC Markets TrueECN account, so I have hard evidence of the above.For example: over the past 24 hours my REAL account had 40(!) closed trades and currently has 34(!) open trades, which open positions are in -10% floating DD... Yeah, -10% DD within 24 hours...Although the Open trades are hidden by RubinFx, the displayed showcase account shows 4, i.e. only FOUR Closed Trades over the past 24 hours and NOT 40(!), i.e. FOURTY.This is a HUGE d...

I don't think so... "Real" money managers do not spend their time on MyFxBook promoting their enterprise.With their min. $100k deposit limit (and "only" 3-4% monthly profits) probably they would not find too many clients here on MyFxBook...So their "promo time" is better spent by socializing in luxury Country Clubs and upscale parties in Manhattan or on Miami Beach...

@VietPipsIt means that you give your MT4 and Password to a total stranger, who will trade on your account. If your are REALLY lucky, he will make some profits for you and at the end of the month you pay him a percentage of your profits (via PayPal, wire, BitCoin, etc.)Don't have your hopes high, most profitable strategies don't last for more than 6 months without a disappointing or unproportional DD. Those who have the 'Holy Grail' are not soliciting clients for account management here on MyFxBook...

And yes, I am making real profits with their assistance.Can I live on my profits? @ferranfont 'Bread and butter' GRID strategy... Lets see how long will it last...Over the past years I have not seen any grid strategies which would have survived more than 12 months. They ALL have ended with a MAJOR DD wiping out at least 6 months' profits (or more).Of course, one never knows... The 'Holy Grail' might just be hiding in plain sight...

Cost averaging - done with expertise, precision and calculated risk - can be much more lucrative than the 'old school' method of using fixed SL.On the other hand, those who are able to pull it off are not hanging around on MyFxBook in their free time. They are either trading for a hedge fund and enjoying their millions in the Hamptons, on the Bahamas or in their plush penthouse on Park Avenue in Manhattan...

@Look009 That is correct Alex, but sometimes the warnings come too late, even on FPA... Unfortunately, well-designed broker Ponzi-schemes can go on for years. Nevertheless, screening by FPA (and by a Google 'scam' search) is a 'must' before signing up with any broker, and any red flags should be taken seriously.The safest is to use only mainstream and reputable brokers registered in highly regulated countries.

Thanks, Hiroo59.FPA is a good reference point, but unfortunately not fool-proof in this regard.Some brokers manage to hide their s**t for a long-long time. Like Bernie Madoff was able to cover up his multi-billion dollar Ponzi-scheme for many years.

@Donex You are right: the 'dodgy point' is the broker.Over the past years there have been many 'phenomenal' verified performance results on MyFxBook, but - suspiciously - all of them running at less or non-reputable (i.e. non-mainstream) brokers.The problem with it is that some 'boiler room' brokers CREATE (i.e. make up) nice performance results just to recruit unsuspecting customers who can watch their PAPER PROFITS grow, until the broker falls off the Earth and gone with all the deposits (and paper profits).
