My spread is usually between 1.9 - 2.3 on the broker I'm currently using for Thor. My other broker that I'm using MDP on is between 1.0 - 1.9 most of the time. I also got about 5 pips on that account with MDP today, so it was a pretty good price spike for me... Both brokers have low slippage and fast execution times though (300-600ms), so maybe that was in my favor.

Oh yeah, MDP took pretty much the same identical sell trade as Thor today on my other account. So Thor and MDP will definitely interfere with one another (at least some of the time) on the same account. It's best to use separate accounts if you're running both of these EAs...

I got 1 sell trade today (core 1) for +4.4 pips. Other than that, it has been a very quiet two weeks. But I think that's more the result of the holiday's effect on the market rather than Thor. By the way, Alexander's programmer has run a number of tests and concluded that there isn't a memory leak with Thor. But I beg to differ...I have to restart the MT4 platform running Thor about once per day, as it continues to increase my VPS memory usage (about 100 MB RAM every 24 hrs). When I opened my MT4 platforms yesterday they were using about 382 MB RAM. When I checked it a few minu...

Thanks for that info. No wonder I've been having my VPS lock up on me constantly the past few days. I've been going back and forth with CNS trying to figure out the problem to no avail. I just had a complete rebuild of my VPS to see if that would work. Now it looks like it's Thor causing the problem. I'm not sure if I can coninue running it if that is the case. I have too much money in my account and several other EAs trading in order to take the risk. If Alexander can't issue an update quickly resolving this issue I'll have to get a refund...

Alexander said that he was in the process of opening up a live account on one of the forums I participate in. However, I thought Thor had been tested on a live account since January of this year, so I'm not sure why he would have to "set up" a live account. Maybe he meant that he was setting up a Myfxbook account for his live forex account, which should only take a few minutes. Who knows? 😕

Does Thor open up to 8 simultaneous trades at one time, as MDP does with the default settings? If so, then I can see how that might cause a problem with 50:1 leverage. But if you use simultaneous trades=1 with MDP, you should never have a problem with 50:1 leverage trading at 1% risk...Anyway, that sucks if Thor interferes with some MDP trades. I definitely don't want to give up MDP to trade Thor or vice versa. I'm testing Thor on my live account now along with MDP, so we'll see what happens...

Hi Geoff,Yes, that's most likely why you're getting those warning messages. I was getting them when I had SO=4 or higher. But since I dropped it to SO=1 I haven't gotten any. But I did get the following on the second price spike yesterday, along with several trades that took more than 2 seconds to execute and modify...16:32:20 '1344': pending order buy stop 0.08 EURUSD at 1.33324 sl: 1.33018 tp: 1.3360016:32:20 '1344': order buy stop 0.08 EURUSD opening at 1.33324 sl: 1.33018 tp: 1.33600 failed [Invalid S/L or T/P]16:32:20 Expert stdlib EURUSD,M1: loaded successfull...

Hi Thanat,Yes, I just added EA Shark 6.0 to my account yesterday, and I'm running both the Shark and MDP on the same platform. Since the Shark usually only trades during the Asian session when the market is relatively quiet, I don't think it will ever try to place trades at the same time as MDP. So I don't forsee any problems running them on the same platform.I feel that both MDP and the Shark are good EAs, but so far the 36% gain I have on my account has come solely from MDP. Now that I'm running both EAs at the same time, I'm hoping to see my account grow even faster! But...

Hi gwrigh,I stopped getting REQUOTING + REPEATING warnings for the most part when I set Hard_Stop_Trailing=false and set Max_Simultaneous_Orders=1. I'll still get the occasional warning, but it seems to place the orders much smoother with these settings. However, I still keep Use_Stop_Orders=true, as I think it's too dangerous to have MDP place the initial order without the sl and tp already set.My trade execution and modification times were mostly between 1 to 2 seconds today for some reason. They're usually below 1 second though, so I'm not sure what happened today. I also ex...

Yes, I've kept the slippage setting at 0.5 for the time being, and I got 3 positive trades today. I also kept the AC at 1 for now because I finally upgraded to v.120 and I wanted to compare how it trades with the same settings I was using with v.116. I may experiment with AC=0 later though. It just depends on how things go over the next week or two. Take care and best of luck to you!Cheers,Roger

Hi Abdul,The support at EESFX is overloaded. I'm pretty sure it's just a few persons operation, and they got a lot of new clients over the past month. So they are very slow to respond. If you need help, try to contact ILQ directly, as they are the actual broker (EESFX is more like an IB).My wire deposit was available within the same day that I wired it. But I wired it from within the US, so it may take a little longer if you are overseas. I hope that helps... 😎Cheers,Roger

Hi gwrigh,I'm honestly not sure how the different AC settings affect MDP's trades. I've been told that increasing additional channels causes MDP to enter trades a little earlier than AC=1, which can produce more trades overall. But a few of the trades often get in too early and end up as losers, so I'm not suree if that's something I wanted.Anyway, I decided to play it conservatively and stick with the default settings for the most part. I have been using NO=0, AC=1, SO=4 (reduced from 8), FIFO=false, Use_Stop_Orders=true, Use_Trailing_Stops=true, Risk=1.5%. However, I lowe...

Ok, keep me updated when the three volunteers confirm that EA Dragon's source code and backtests are "clean." This is a very interesting EA and will be great if it performs on a live account as well as it has on your demo accounts so far. Thanks...Roger

Why are you selling an EA that you've never tested on a live account, and have only been testing on a demo account for 1 week? There's not enough history to make an informed decision on whether to buy this EA or not. And how do you answer the charge that you doctored the backtests for the prior EA you were selling, the EA Guinea? See here:http://www.myfxbook.com/community/strategies/guinea-vers2011-ecn/125833,1

Hi hagenuk,I guess I need to check here more often, because I didn't realize you had asked another question until today. I'm not sure why your Mt4 comments aren't being copied into your Myfxbook stats. You should only have to load the Myfxbook EA onto one chart on your Mt4, and then it should copy all of your trades and comments into your Myfxbook stats. If that doesn't work, I'm not sure what else to tell you. I hope that helps.Cheers,Roger

Hi hagenuk,I'm sorry it took me so long to reply, but I didn't see your question until today. First, in your Myfxbook "Settings" section click the "Trade history" and "Comments" button in the "Permissions" area on the lower portion of the page.Second, in your Mt4 platform, right click on the "Trade" Tab, and check the "comments" option. Do the same thing under your "History" Tab, and you should be all set. I hope that helps.Cheers,Roger
