@FxMasterGuru I would like to see a real account that proves your claim that you belong to the 5%.I belong to the crowd (95%) 😲
Do you think 1000% a year is sufficient ? What is your performance ?

Forex professional gambler, lol. Good luck on that.To make 3,000% in one week is easy. Everyone who have no idea about trading will be impressed. To make cosistenltly 3% monthly gain for 5 years is hard, even though it seems easy.

@charlie81 We're just making a small joke. No offense. The truth is that no one can sustain that type of growth on the long run. The account will blow off. I'd be surprised if the account survives next week.It doesn't matter if it is brokers money, or your money. I've seen people loose millions. You should love to trade, not gamble.

@hemipips I believe time in DD doesn't matter that much, what matters is the size of DD.A good trader can stay in DD for months then get out of DD in a matter of weeks when markets move his way. A bad trader with a risky strategy can have 99% DD in one single day.

Is there any broker have no slipage?
in
Galvenais
Nov 15, 2013 at 21:06
I believe there is none.Slippage occurs during periods of higher volatility (big market news) brokers need to find a counter party to fill the order. Because price moves so fast the broker can't find a counter party at the desired price fast enough, the order gets filled at the next best price. So all a trader can do is manage risk properly. Not to risk too much in a single trade.

@Alpscalp I always wondered why trades that use martingale strategy are overly confident. The basics of martingale is that you risk more that you can gain. But tora nice guy, I hope he survives this and makes a big withdrawal 😄.

@fxtremist I used the word "highly unlikely" and "not possible" because the question implies the word "consistently".By consistently I understand for a long time, not few months. I have not yet seen an account that can do that, yet I'm a believer and hope somebody someday can achieve it.Just my humble opinion.

"Can you consistently make a profit of USD2000 on a USD5000 account?"It is possible (but highly unlikely) if a trader doesn't withdraw from the market. If so in the first month has to have gain 40%, on the second 28.57%, third 22.22%, fourth 18.18, fifth 15.38 end so on. Notice every month has to earn less in percentage considering the account grows bigger. If a trader every month withdraws from the market the profit (2,000$), then the trader every month has to win at least 40%, witch is not possible.Simple math 😉

Good advice m8 😉Except one thing, I never promoted my trading style, called it efficient or seeking for investors.I have 5 years experience in the markets and consistently aware of risks involved. In my 5 years experience the firs two was very important, blowing many accounts. So whenever I see somebody very confident on their system, I think it is OK to remind them of the risks involved. There is no holly grail system and the will never be.

@trora What I know about brokers, if a broker limits you from trading (for excample on time the position is held) then the broker is market maker. So the traders are trading against the house. If the traders win, the broker looses. In this case the broker firm will do anything to protect itself.Personally I would look for a broker that my trades are placed in real market and no matter if I win or loose the broker will always win (only the spread). So there is no conflict of interest between me and the broker. I don't care if I pay one pip more. Why desk dealing brokers are famous, i think i...
