FFM and CNS got together and sorted out the problem. i was briefly able to get it activated right before my broker stopped sending ticks. Still no sign of it working on my home pc, which is a necessity because i won't run it live unless I can see it work in a tick data backtest. I want to know how and why it trades before I am willing to risk money on it.

Unfortunately, that is the cost of hackers ripping the software vendors off. They have to charge more to ensure they hit their profit goal before the hackers find a way to steal it from them and make available to everyone for free.

I can help you on that. Start by removing anything that is already out of it's positions so there won't be any new positions from other EAs or pairs. If you are still left with a couple of pairs and the margin is dangerously close, then it depends on what your leverage is. if the leverage is 50:1, then you can just close out the worst pip losing position(s) as they will have the smallest impact on the recovery, and it will generally free up a lot of margin. If you have a high leverage (400:1 or higher), then this option may help some, but not nearly as much as with the lower leverage a...

Heck, they might even be able to put together a script that could be emailed to everyone that would open the trade and make it so the TEA would automatically recognize it once it is up and running again.

Just thought I would throw in my 2 cents. There is a moderately simple solution (that is fairly annoying to implement). Someone from the company who has a working version of TEA (maybe connected to the tradency account) could post any new trades and their modifications done so that anyone with open trades could at least add them manually until they are flat, or TEA is back up again.Just a thought.

People need to seriously think about risk. Look through past posts on this forum. People that have used 2% risk have lost nearly half their account with a matter of seconds with MDP. Maintain proper risk or prepare to give away you money.

Alright!! Good news! It is official, the memory leak has been fixed. There was a huge amount of movement in the market today and no extra memory usage!!

I recommend to do what the manual tells you. Also, so far, I have not noticed an increasing memory usage. It is too early to tell, as it usually happens most when the market is moving a lot. So, i will know for sure tomorrow. 😝

I finally had a chance to record a video of the memory leak and sent it in to the support. Now, hopefully it will give them an idea of what is happening.

When I was testing TEA, i made a note of the nastiness the EURJPY pair displayed for me. It required some amount of market analysis to determine how to kill it before I got burned badly. I suggest to keep your eye on the EURUSD. i am anticipating a move down to 1.2600 and then a possible significant bounce. Maybe EURJPY will be looking to bounce at that time also.

That definitely looks like an issue to me. It also double up on one of the larger lot sizes. Very odd.

I have a theory that could account for you having a huge DD when no one else does. Mind you, this is only a theory. IF.....TEA is similar to the kangaroo ea in that is bases some of it's information off of tick data, having a broker that smooths the data feed, or does not stream ticks consistently will adversely affect the performance of the EA.

Well, it's official. There is another memory leak other than the one they found. Mem usage starts at 650mb with current setup. Today it was up to 850mb. I close all platforms except the ones Thor is installed on and the mem usage holds steady at 850mb. Then I close the platforms Thor is in and mem usage drops back to 650mb. I had recorded a video of it, but hit the wrong button to save it and lost the vid. So, I will do another one when it does it again.
