B1 : You're right about the brokers ! As I said, last week we place the EXACT trade at 2 different brokers.One broker filled fine and we had a nice profit.Thinkforex filled bad : I checked the ticket : It was filled 8 pips lower than the 1 minute candle! So that price was not in the graphic of Thinkforex.Do you think that I will write to the broker to complain ? NO ! Because I already know what they will tell me....same story..blah.. blah blah. sava : 4% doesn't mean anything ! The key is consistency. If it's so easy please share here a list of managed accounts that make 4 X 12 = 48% profit a year.... with NO drawdown. I will be happy to invest.

Trading news... this is exactly when an EA is a must.The problem is the broker that doesn't fill good the order, especially if they see you're making money.I think I'm not the only one that see ticket with a value different than the 1 min. candle after the news.

By the way I'm a fan of algo and HFT..... but I also like fundamental/manual trading... all depends on the trade duration... seconds or days?

FxMaster.... Unfortunately I'm not in that 1%, and have no problems to admit!Anyway this do not prevent me to make money, because I simply know the good managers and they make profits for me.I know for sure that this is the right method; and as I have a quite long experience in managed accounts, (not only forex but also futures and option writing) I can say that the BIG traders work in this way.I know well some managers and ask them many things. And I can say that 1% is optimistic, maybe 0.1% is closer to the reality.

Manual or Automatic ?In my opinion the best is : Semiautomatic!Flexibility of a trader that can read fundamentals and market sentiment + Hard rule of an EA.... Bingo!

Demo AccountsI know other big funds managers that have linked their performances to demo accounts here. I wrote them and they send me all the documents and they are fully regulated. Hedge funds and managed futures funds are not here on Myfxbook. They have relationship with " Qualified Eligible Participant " , persons that invest millions of dollars, not 10K or.... cent accounts.It is good if BIG managers begin to explain and show their strategies here.... can this be the start of a new trend where important funds take care of smaller investors and community? I think that anytime you see altered data you have just to skip and don't lose time. We have to spend energy for analysis of 100% transparent data.

This is my opinion:1 : You have to look at reputable brokers where you fund the account2 : You have to see the AUM of the fund, is a 1.000$ account or a 100 Millions account, this is an important factor also.3 : Usually Pamm performs better than signals, less technical problems like trades not copied or slippage that have a big impact in the strategy.4 : Do not look only at the profit : In general grid or martingale systems seems they gain a lot, but one day ( without advice you ) the account is destroyed totally5 : Be realistic with yourself : If the best Hedge fund traders make 30-50% a year...

Accouts are deleted because they crash. Always the same story, nothing new under the sun.They show good performance to attract customers, they gain performance fee and when the account crash they say you goodbye!The open a new account and the cycle still continue, you lose money they make money gambling with your capital! Easy money....for them! 100% of no risk is impossible in every things in the life. But any funds manage the risk in a different way. Now I made my decision, I invest in important funds with AUM of many millions, very stable with really low risk. I'm happy with 4/5 % every month ... with peace of mind...

DD=0.85%Many times I see strategies with incredible performance, you can have a drawdown of 0% even with martingale system, and in just one day the equity fall at -100%, which is the interest to have an account that make 100% of profit in one month if the month later we lose everything? You have to explain the strategy, a graph of 2 months don't say the 100% of the story....

100% of guarantee No, because everything in the life has a part of risk. Anyway not all the funds manage the risk in the same way. The funds that I invest have 3 years of consistent results with only 2% of drawdown. So have a good fund is possible.The problem is that us as investor want have a 20% per month as gain, and this is possible if you risk a lot.About me I made my decision, I put my money in stable funds, and I'm happy to have 4/5% every month with peace of mind 😄
