1. You will not see any real-time results with the mentioned strategies. Trades are - conveniently - delayed. I have seen it first-hand. The reason they claim was that they wanted to prevent copy-cats, but my suspicion is that they needed some time to hand-craft their trades. Which is why they will never be real-time signal providers - even for $1000 per month - and you will never see them on ConnectForex or on AutoTrade.2. As with any pyramid-scheme it is possible to withdraw funds, until the very end. Many people managed to get some nice virtual profits from Bernie Madoff, and even the Hunga...

@VPTrader 1. Using ICM or TickMill should not have an impact on their strategy's performance. For example: ICM's and TickMill's spreads are extremely good, and I doubt they could get better spreads than these brokers provide. On the same note: If 3TGFX were such an extremely good broker for scalpers why it has not become the industry leader...? After so many years why is it still a no-name broker...?2. Oh, yes. VERIFIED MyFxBook data can easily manipulated (i.e. forged, cooked, etc), especially if the strategy management and the broker are under the same roof.3. With the published ...

@VPTrader You are right. There is no proof... Just strong suspicions. But lets consider for how many years Bernie Madoff could fool even the most savvy and smartest investors in the USA. Not to mention the SEC...So there is no clear answer to your question. The results are simply "too good to be true" and ALL THESE STRATEGY LEADERS REFUSE TO RUN THEIR STRATEGIES AT ANY OTHER "MAINSTREAM" BROKERS for reference and validation. I have approached them with this request and the copycat answer was: "We don't need to prove anything to anybody".... And it is a BIG RED ...

Good start with ambitious plans. Not to take your enthusiasm away, but to place your goals in perspective:1. Trading is 80% psychology, which challenge you wiill experience only when trading on a live accountl. So instead of a demo trading try to trade on a small (even cent), but LIVE account. It would immediately introduce you to the challenges of "trading psychology".2. If you read this thread from the beginning you will understand the STATISTICAL chances of making a living by Forex trading.

With a nice Martingale... +18.8% profit this year by losing -3781.00 pipsYou collect performance fees until it works, and when it crashes, a simple "Sorry, Man" will conclude the deal.

It just confirms the practical conclusions of this thread.Until proven otherwise we can conclude that THERE IS NO (non-grid) STRATEGY ABLE TO FULFILL - even the less than optimal - CONDITIONS MENTIONED IN THE TITLE.It clearly shows the slim statistical chances of "Average Trader Joe" making a living from Forex profits. But who makes the profits then...?1. Brokers and their licencing authorities.2. Liquidity providers3. Metatrader and other trading platform provider companies4. IBs (introducing brokers)5. VPS providers6. EA programmers7. "Holy Grail&...

Everbody has a piece of truth here. I think we can conclude that:1. "Average Joe/Jane Trader" has very slim chances of making a stable living via Forex trading. And we are still NOT talking about becoming rich by Forex trading.2. A successful "Average Joe/Jane Trader" (who is also a "publishing" member of MyFxBook) could be easily spotted on MyFxBook and probably he/she would be actively recruiting clients to boost his/her own funds.3. A successful "PRO Joe/Jane Trader" probably would not care about posting on MyFxBook.___________________________________...

@shaf356I seriously doubt that it is "not that difficult" as I am still about to see the very first one non-grid strategy run at a "respected broker". Two years is a long time to keep DD below 20% and raking in average 5% monthly profit. But again, if it were "not that difficult", please give us a link to the performance page of at least ONE such strategy.

I agree with most what you had mentioned.Yes, -25% max. DD is too high for larger investments, but it was a minimum requirement. I just did not want to be "too strict" with the DD conditions. Since most Forex traders are overleveraged (which is OK with smaller funds) I was anticipating to scale down the risk to be suitbale for larger inverstments. For example: If some could have come up with a strategy showing 6% average monthly profit (for at least two years) with -20% max. DD, then this strategy could have been scaled down to 1.5% monthly profit with -5% max. drawdown. With profit r...

@forexpipcatchar 1. I was hoping to see a "retail trader" who has managed to achieve solid financial freedom via Forex trading. I have to admit that my hopes were unfounded.2. More than two years after starting this thread I can only agree with your observations.

Nice results. Nevertheless, it would be nicer if you could replicate them on an account with a maninstream (i.e. reputable) broker (e.g. ICM, Pepperstone, Global Prime, Oanda, LMAX etc.) as already suggested by someone in the thread of the strategy. Until then it is just too suspicious for a broker assisted "book cooking".

@Cholipop I agree with you fully. Not the average 5% per month is the hard part (for at least short term), but the LONG TERM CONSISTENCY.Why? Markets always change and they have hundreds of "behaviour patterns", not just two (trending/non-trending). There are very few EAs and money managers who can rapidly adapt to these changes and remain profitable long term. And of course those strategies are not for the public (as they make their profits ON the public).

@comeinvest You are right Alfred. I am the one who had started this thread more than 2 years ago, and the main part of the title is: "AT LEAST"...5% per month with max. 25% DD is not ideal. I agree. But what has amazed me that no one legitimate and verified strategy could achieve even this less than ideal criteria for performance. What is the conclusion...? The money managers of such good strategies stay anonym and won't even post here (if they have ever met this thread).

Non-verified accounts are 99% scams. That is why.Unfortunately even verified accounts can be scams (in cooperation with scam brokers).

When some registers with TWO names, then in TWO different threads he is praising his own EA under those different names (vica versa), it smells FISHY.And what smells "fishy", it is USUALLY a FISH... Especially a rotting one...On MyFxBook I have learnt an important rule: EACH AND EVERY "EA FOR SALE" IS A LIKELY SCAM, UNTIL PROVEN OTHERWISE.

Probably there is no Holy Grail. But never say never. Anyway, MANY people would be happy with a strategy you have just described. Especially if it were not a grid strategy.
