I always set stop loss, but very rarely do I let them hit. By the time a trade approaches that point, you should spot those signs of reversal early on and cut your loss short. The sl for me is used in the case of a sudden news event that causes a spike out of my control. Then it serves as the maximum I was willing to lose with that trade.

I typically need two factors to trade: Same trading time (9:30-10); Market trending hard in one directionExecuting requires a key awareness of support/resistance as well as a "feel" for the next set of candles once you enter. The latter times time, but that's also why most of my trades are just a minute or 2 long, with minimal drawdown.

Only on the technicals: The month is ending, so you might be looking at a bit of a pullback before the new month. Definitely not a buy until it breaks .88 . A lot of room down to .84/.85 . I'd assume sells are valid, but wouldn't take a position until it closes below .868

I think the idea's ok if you're unsure about which broker to go with. And I'm definitely hearing the points about diversifying. But I think you should really go all in with a broker you trust. Maybe it's different for swing traders. As a scalper. I'd be running ragged with 2 different brokers, data sets, and less growth between both.

Everyone has a stoploss, it's the margin call. You know this going into Martingale, and from others on this thread, but it seems you'll ignore the warning signs. A lot of trading is just like this too. That's why people let winning trades reverse, and hold losing trades all the way to sl.You have to confront yourself psychologically about why these things happened. You can also view my account for reference. Calmed down and started doing the same thing in July. Average ~3% risk, only won 54% of 28 trades, but I closed up 20% for the month. I'm sure you can make 7% with just 1% ...

I know you've tried a lot, and it almost sounds like you're reaching a point of exhaustion with this. Have you tried trading just once or twice a day on a particular setup? You have 2+ years of trading history, and there are winners there, why not just go back and try to replicate them? If nothing shows, no trade. By doing as close to the same thing everyday, you'll get better and become consistent over time - and you wont have huge losses.According to this, 37,000+ trades over 5 years. You'd have to open 25-30 trades - a day - no breaks, just to earn ~7% a month. This strategy...

FxChoice has 1:200, you really dont need higher than that lolAafx has 1:2000 - personally experienced consistent slippage of 2-3 pips on real accounts

I trade based on price-action as well. Best thing I could tell you is to just take that first step into the water. Use your real account, minimum risk - 0.01. If it's not working, take less trades and be more selective. All you have to do is repeat your good trades under the same conditions.

I lost money because I just wasn't patient. The mistake was putting in more money to get back those losses too haha. The hardest thing to understand was that you dont have to trade everyday or hunt for trades every session. Nowadays I dont even trade everyday, it's like a part-time gig that earns great returns. Ignore the noise from social media.
