Australia Private Sector Credit Adds 0.6% In December

(RTTNews) - Private sector credit in Australia was up a seasonally adjusted 0.6 percent on month in December, the Reserve Bank of Australia said on Friday - unchanged from the previous month and exceeding expectations for 0.5 percent.
On a yearly basis, private sector credit was up 8.6 percent.
Individually, housing credit rose 0.5 percent on month and 5.5 percent on year, while personal credit added 0.5 percent on month and 3.0 percent on year and business credit climbed 0.8 percent on month and 8.9 percent on year.
Broad money was up 0.3 percent on month and 5.3 percent on year.
