Any idea it took a double trade on 12.09?

Yes. It was because I had the 'TakeAdditionalPips' setting on 'true,' which automatically divides your risk percent in half for the trade, and then opens two positions, one that has a TP of 20 pips and the other at 40 pips. Unfortunately, I never hit the 20 pip TP level, and both trades hit the full SL of -45 and closed at -48 pips. I've since turned that setting to 'false,' as the backtesting has shown that to be the most profitable over the long term.

Hey,

I PMed you but it might a good question in here, so you don't have to keep answering.

What is your risks settings on the EAs (I read in a forum you were running the shark on on 2, so I guess I would just like to knpw the other 2 EAs risk :)

Thanks!

Hi Damon,

On my live account I'm currently running the Shark on 2, the Genius on 5, and the Gap Trader on 5. I'll probably keep those risk settings until my account is over 10k, and then I may increase the risk to 4 on the Shark, 6 on the Genius, and 10 on the Gap Trader. But I'll just have to see how things go and play it by ear. Talk to you later...

Hi fxsignalme,

Well, I never used any of the earlier versions of the EA Shark, so I really don't know what happened with them. They claim that version 6.0 now uses Neural Networks and more advanced strategies, and has the ability to automatically adjust to market changes. So far my results with EA Shark 6.0 have been very similar to the stats posted on their website (https://www.forexeasystems.com/forex-expert-advisor-ea-shark/forward-results). I haven't had a losing trade with this EA yet (with about one month of trading), and they've only had 4 losing trades since the beginning of July 2010, with a profit of +140.31% and drawdown of only -6.30%. Therefore, until I see evidence to the contrary, I'm expecting the EA Shark 6.0 to continue making me money. However, only time will tell for sure...

Cheers,
Roger

Hi myforex12,

Sorry, but I have no idea why you can't get a reply. Every time I have contacted the ForexEASystems support by email, I have received a reply within a few days. Perhaps now that the Holidays are over, you will here back from them. By the way, how has the EA Sigma worked for you? I've been considering buying it for while now, but I'll probably wait until the EA Thor comes out instead. I only want to use one more EA for my trading, and I think the Thor will likely be very good.

Cheers,
Roger
