What I am trying to achieve with this account is to earn 50 pips per day, every day. This will take a $50 mini account to a maxed out position (ie trading the maximum 50 lots per trade) in 22 trading days, making for a $2,500 per day income

Day 1 Summary (before I discovered this great site) : Trading was OK for a Friday but I made some silly mistakes resulting in me being down 48pips, but thanks in part to luck, a trade that I left over the weekend resulted in a nice gain that bought me back to 26pips up. Not the full 50, but better than a loss day.

yeah, any gain is still a gain.
I guess now that your account is updated automatically here, you can post less, and focus more on you trading..

I was actually 21pips down before the Friday close and got up this morning to 141pips up. I should have remembered that more clearly, but I had just woken up

Day 2 Summary : a very up and down day for me today. Twice I was over 40pips up for the day and then struck some bad trades. The later the day goes the worse things get and so I have actually ended up with a 38pip loss for the day 
I am now done for this day and tomorrow is a new day.

Day 3 : Started off fantastically. Got my 50pip target very early and decided to start day 4 to catch up on yesterdays loss. This turned out to be a massive mistake, mainly because I deviated from my trading rules and ended up margining out. There goes $50.
So I gave myself a good beating, reafirmed my trading rules, and started again.
Day result : +58pips
Hopefully the new account will just replace the current records (although I haven't been able to get anything published for a number of hours. I noticed that I was not the only one so I figured I would just try it again later on)

It depends on the trade realy ... and your definition of scalper. What I have learned from this first attempt is that most of the time I can actually go for 25-50 pips per trade. But then it depends on what the market is doing at the time, right? :)
