Hi Sensation,
If I copy your trades in Signalstart.
Your balance is $12,889
DD is 10.09% (in myfxbook)
Therefore,
If I copy with $4,000 fund.
Will my calculation correct at this point as;
My DD will become 32.5% ? [Question #1]
Due to $4,000 is 3.22 times of your balance $12,889.
From your history records,
Your smallest Lot size is 0.01, majority typical Lot size is 0.02,
biggest Lot size is 2.0
Normal trading Lot size is 0.02,
If I copy with $4,000 initial fund in Signalstart,
setting same risk with Provider, 100% ratio.
Your 2.0 Lot, 1.0 Lot, 0.50 Lot, 0.35 Lot
all will be copied in my trades are divided by 3.22
as 0.62 Lot, 0.31 Lot, 0.15 Lot, and 0.1 Lot.
For your 0.02 Lot will be minimum copied as my 0.01 (no way to copy smaller than 0.01).
Most of your trades are 0.02 (over 60% are).
Therefore, I will copy as 0.01 (about 60%).
Will it means $4,000 fund will generate DD very high like $16.25%
Provider $12,889 -------> DD: 10.09% (it is floating negative -$1,300)
Receiver $4,000 --------> DD: 16.25% (It is floating negative -$650)
Floating negative -$650 due to copying your trades with minimal 0.01 Lot szie.
50% less Lot from your trades. [Question #2]

Thank you for your questions.
Yes, you are absolutely right, theoretically it is. But your DD may be higher than mine because of big differences in deposit amounts. Your account will get quite incorrect order size allocation, when we deal with min. size 0.01.
So your logical reasoning is 100% correct.

Since your balance is about half of signal provider's balance setting the multiplier to -2.0 should produce approximately the same drawdown but half of the profits of the signal providers'.
Keeping the multiplier to 1.0 should give you about double the drawdown but approximately the same profits as the signal provider.

Actually I do not recommend to use multiplier more than 1.0. Because "risks" is the most important thing in trading. But you can double it at your own risk.

I work with different brokers. Different trading strategies , with different brokers. I diversify my funds and strategies. But it doesn't mean that I use the same strategy with all brokers. Some brokers are good for scalping or hft trading, another ones - for manual long term trading.
